  This was the worst tour I’ve ever done. Paid single supplement but found I was the only traveler when I arrived. Wasn’t met at airport and had to find a phone after I left the airport to contact Tourradar. Guide arrived and blamed me for not seeing him in the airport. Tour driver obviously not happy to be driving one person. Continually took me to expensive western restaurants where i was the only diner. I repeatedly walked out to find my own local eating places. Driver ignored me whoever I pointed this out. The guide in Varanasi (Mukesh) was excellent.Show more

  November 15, 2022 To GeTSHolidays, I cannot begin to praise GeTSHolidays enough for their planning and execution of my recent 21 day tour to India. The care and concern for my welfare and happiness throughout the trip was comforting and reassuring – I felt I was in good hands. During my travels I was contacted by Ms. Anu Seth and Mr. Debasish Biswas as to how well my tour was going. Arrangements of my tour by Deb was flawless and he contacted me more than once to be certain all was well. I have never had any tour agency show me such personal attention as I was actually traveling like the GeTSHolidays staff did several times along the way. My driver Mr. Onkar Sing and I were together for 12 days and covered more than 2010 km. Mr. Sing was the most professional experienced driver I could have asked for. His skill in maneuvering city traffic was extraordinary matched only by his patience. While all the Indian traffic was blowing their horns, Onkar never touched his horn once. He never made any hasty or reckless driving moves and I knew I was in good safe hands. I credit Onkar for the timely success of my tour schedule and hold him in very high regards as driver and genuine good man. The tour guides in every location were so much more than I expected. Their knowledge of Indian history and its religions was extraordinary. Many times I felt as though I was visiting these sites with a travel buddy. I learned many new things from these guides and appreciated their care and effort to make my experience fulfilling. This tour to India was a life time dream for me and GeTSHolidays went beyond making it a truly magical and wonderful experience – thank you all for your devotion to this industry and thank you for showing me “Incredible India”.   We did the Golden Triangle but had it modified for us as it was part of our three weeks in India, The arrangement that Gets did for us could not be faulted. having used Gets previously we had no concerns about the arrangements that thy did for us. If you are planing a trip to India you will not be disappointed withe them. Having only just got home we are already planing to use them next year.Show more

  We started with one of GeTS advertised tours, but removed one city that didn't look very interesting, and added Udaipur, which promised to be beautiful (and was). GeTS uses a voucher system, which allows for lots of customizing of your trip. It also means that you're not with the same group of people for the entire time. Upon arrival at each city, you're met at the train station or airport by a GeTS representative, who will take you to your hotel, and review your itinerary for that city with you, and answer any questions. It's a very nice system.Show more

  The hotel location in Delhi is poor. Very ghetto place even though it’s close to the sightseeing places. Other hotels in Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi are great! The tour guide in Delhi is arrogant and cranky. We all 4 don’t like him much! The tour guides in Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi are great, especially the one in Agra where the Tah Mahal is, he is a great guy with sense of humor and great effort and knowledge. We all love him.   Private 15 day tour of Golden Triangle and Nepal 4 people We started in Delhi and we met, as arranged at the air port by our India driver Shishram. He was our driver and part-time guide through out or time in India. We cannot say enough good things about Shishram He was safe, informative, friendly and made each day enjoyable. Our guide in Delhi, Karni, was a wealth of information. He took us to many out of the way places and showed us the real side of Delhi. Walked a ton, in and out of the shops and back ways in the market. The tours of the sites were spectacular. The hotel was very relaxing after a long days seeing the sites. Great beds, very clean, modern rooms - Jaypee Siddharth. On to Agra with Shishram in the traffic. If you have never experienced the bedlam be prepared. We weaved in and out of the traffic like we were flowing down a river. Arrived in the early afternoon in Agra and off to the Taj. Our guide Jugnu was a wealth of information. Really knew his stuff at the Taj. Again, we were glad to rest at our hotel Atulyaa Taj. Jaipur was lovely spot and well worth the trip. The town is centered on tourism. Dharmendra kept us busy seeing the many sites in town. Again, he knew his town and was proud to show us. Easy transfer to the airport and on to Nepal. Again, we had a great driver, Surya. Never felt a moments concern in traffic, which wasn’t as bad as India but not for the weak of heart. Great little hotel, Rama Inn. Close to the action but very quiet (next to the Canadian Consulate). Keshew was friendly, easygoing and clearly loved Kathmandu. The pace was a bit more relaxed, which we appreciated after the crush of India. We were in and out of lovely sites, treated like honoured guests and loved the people of Nepal. The drive to Pokhara was stunning. Great scenery around every corner. Pokhara is a back packers heaven. We awoke every morning in our hotel White Pearl with a absolutely breath taking view of Anapura and Fishtail. Had a hard time leaving our balcony to go to breakfast. Krishna was very helpful, looked after us when we were cold, got us tea when we really needed it and made sure everything went smoothly. Knew his stuff and helped us get a real taste for this lovely lakeside town. Gets check on us regularly, very well organized and good value. Made our trip!!!Show more
