We have different sorts of accommodation: Hostel (Dorm, single or double) 3* hotel (Single or double) 4* hotel (Single or double) All accommodations are subject to change until 4-6 weeks before the departure date. After the booking is made you will be issued your final trip documents with your specific accommodation details 4-6 weeks before departure. Under the "What’s Included" tab on each tour page, you can find general info about the accommodations used on the tour before you book.

Is this a group tour with a guide?

This is an independent tour which means there’s no tour leader to follow around, only local guides for each included activity. You will travel independently on a fixed itinerary with prebooked public transportation, activities and accommodation. You will not be traveling with a group, and people that booked for the same date will be with you in the same accommodation and on the same tour as well as other like minded travelers.

Is January a good time to join this tour?

Winter time in January is a gamble as there will be about 12 sunny days around the 3rd week of the month (no guarantee). We are only able to provide our services for this in May, June, July, August & September. The main reason is that transportation from port to port by ferry becomes a hassle.

We expect that Bamba Experience will follow up with us and discuss compensation for the tour that we were given that was not as described and promised to us. We paid for 4 star accommodations but were given 2 and 3 star accommodations. We trusted that the trip description would be exact but in fact it was not. In making package choices, we were offered different levels, having chosen the 4 star accommodations, that we paid for in advance, but we were given a lower level. Show more

- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Bamba Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Bamba Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Bamba Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Bamba Travel. Please familiarize yourself with the Bamba Travel payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
