This package offers a well rounded Greek experience, from the historical depths of Athens to the serene beauty of Paros and Santorini. We added an extra day in Athens to see the Acropolis. I highly recommend it. In addition the selectiin of hotels was very good. all have an excellent location. We loved the Argonauta hotel in Paros.

What our customers ask about Island Hopping Tours & Trips in Greece
When is the best time to visit the Greek Islands for island hopping?
The Greek Islands shine from May to September with reliable ferry schedules and pleasant temperatures. The sweet spot falls in June and September when Santorini and Mykonos see temperatures of 75-85°F with fewer tourists than July and August. A TourRadar traveler noted: "We had an amazing time exploring the Greek islands in September with perfect weather for both sightseeing and beach activities." Budget-conscious travelers should consider April-May or September-October when prices drop and the weather remains ideal for exploring sites like the Athens Acropolis or Santorini's caldera.
How long should I spend on each Greek island during an Island Hopping tour?
Most travelers find 2-3 nights per island lets them explore without rushing. The itinerary might include 2 nights at Paradise Beach Resort in Mykonos followed by 2 nights at Xenia Hotel in Naxos and 3 nights at Splendour Resort in Santorini. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "Two nights per island was perfect - enough time to see the main sights and get a feel for each place without rushing."
What type of accommodation can I expect on Greek islands?
The islands offer a mix from family-run guesthouses to upscale resorts. El Greco Resort in Santorini showcases classic Cycladic design while Yiannaki Hotel in Mykonos focuses on sea views and modern comforts. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The Winery Hotel in Santorini was exceptional - beautiful views and fantastic service." Standard amenities include breakfast air conditioning and WiFi. Many properties feature rooftop spaces or pools facing the Aegean.
How do the ferry transfers work between Greek islands?
Island hopping tours handle the ferry logistics. Fast ferries connect main routes like Athens to Mykonos (4-6 hours) and Mykonos to Santorini (2-4 hours). Hotels such as Kallos Imar in Santorini and Yiannaki in Mykonos provide port transfers. A TourRadar traveler shared: "All transfers were seamless - we were picked up on time from each port and hotel making island transitions stress-free." Tours include economy tickets with business class upgrades available for longer routes.
What's included in the meal plans for Island Hopping tours?
Tours typically cover daily breakfast and select group dinners. Travel Zone tours for instance include morning meals at places like Athens' Poseidon Hotel plus dinner during Santorini sunset cruises. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The included breakfasts were extensive featuring both Greek specialties and international options. Having some meals included while being free to explore local restaurants for others was ideal."
What are the must-see highlights on a Greek Island hopping tour?
Key experiences include Oia's white villages in Santorini the windmills of Mykonos Little Venice and the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni with their mineral springs. Paros offers the fishing village of Naoussa and the distinctive Kolympithres beach. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "The Santorini volcano cruise and sunset in Oia were absolute highlights - truly breathtaking views that you can't get anywhere else." Most tours start at Fresh Hotel in Athens allowing time to visit the Acropolis before departing for the islands.
