On Day 6, there is an optional activity listed as Sailboat tour to Nea and Palea and hot springs. Do we book that through you? And if so, do we do it in advance, or while we are on the trip? If we can't book it though you, where do we book it through?

    Tour Details
    • EskapasOperatorWritten June 2026

Yes Santorini Boat tour is a 5-hour activity that you can book here and its cost is 120USD per person. Our traditional boat trip around the Santorini Caldera has two different options so you can choose the one that fits your preferences and timetable. You can choose to start the cruise in the morning to make the most of the day. Alternatively, if you want to catch the spectacular Greek sunset, you can opt for the afternoon departure. Morning Cruise - We'll pick you up at 09:00am from your hotel and head to the port. There, we'll board a traditional boat which will take us out onto the beautiful Aegean Sea. During the journey, we'll anchor near Red Beach and White Beach so you can swim in the idyllic emerald waters and try some fun snorkelling. There is a huge variety of colourful, exotic fish waiting for you under the surface of the water. Afterwards, we'll continue sailing through the Aegean waters, passing the beautiful 19th-century Akrotiri Lighthouse atop the imposing Black Mountain. You'll also see the wonderful Indian rock formation Then we'll head to the Palia Kameni coast so that you can take a relaxing dip in thermal volcanic pools, which are famous for having a high quantity of minerals and properties which are good for the skin. The boat will then continue sailing to the coast of Therasia, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of chicken, tzatziki, beans, fig leaves, salad, fruit, and a soft drink or white wine. Feeling refreshed and energized, we'll return to the port, arriving 5 hours after setting off. Afternoon Cruise (pick-up at 02:30pm) - If you decide to take the afternoon cruise, we'll follow the same itinerary as the morning trip but in the opposite direction. We'll pick you up from your hotel and head towards Therasia Island. Here we'll admire the beautiful coastline from the boat deck and take a refreshing dip in the pristine emerald waters. Next, we'll go to Palia Kameni to bathe and pamper our skin in the fabulous volcanic thermal pools. Later, our route passes the Black Mountain where we'll see the Santorini lighthouse. You'll also see the imposing Indian Rock and the heavenly Red and White Beaches. As the tour progresses and the sun starts to fall towards the horizon, the landscapes will be cast in wonderful red and orange tones. As you watch the stunning Mediterranean sunset, you'll enjoy a succulent dinner before we finally arrive back on dry land 5 hours after pickup. On particular days when the wind is very strong, to keep you safe, the boat may be a catamaran instead of a traditional wooden boat.

We have a family of four (children 7 and 10 years old) interested in more details about the itinerary, inclusions, accommodations, and potential upgrades. Specifically, they are curious about the possibility of upgrading to a private boat with meals. Additionally, they would like to include dedicated days for a water park, theme park, and zoo, particularly options in Athens and Crete, with Attica Zoological Park being a highlight for the kids.

    • EskapasOperatorWritten April 2026

Regarding the private boat upgrade, we can arrange a private caldera cruise in both Mykonos and/or Santorini, including meals on board. This is a great experience for families and can be tailored to their preferences. As for the zoo, water park, and theme park visits, these are not part of our standard itinerary. We generally recommend that families arrange these independently, as it gives more flexibility on timing. However, if they would prefer, we can also assist with arranging these as optional add-ons. The Attica Zoological Park in Athens is a wonderful choice, especially for younger children.
