What are the typical group sizes and what type of transportation is used?

    • East Site IncOperatorWritten February 2026

Group sizes usually range from 4 to 15 participants, and due to this small size, our tours are very interactive—more like conversations than lectures. We use 20-seat minibuses, and our guide stays with the group throughout the journey. We use the same transportation within each country for consistency and comfort.

    Asked on January 30th, 2026

there are other things I would like to see around Almaty...can you arrange this

    Tour Details
    • East Site IncOperatorWritten January 2026

In our group tours, the itinerary is fixed, and unfortunately we are not able to make changes or add additional locations, as the program is coordinated in advance for all participants. However, if you would like more flexibility, we would be happy to arrange a private tour, which we organize for a minimum of 2 participants. A private tour means: A customized itinerary tailored to your interests, The flexibility to add or adjust locations and timing, A personal guide and private transportation exclusively for you, A more relaxed pace without being tied to a group schedule. The private tour option would require an additional cost of USD 1,000 per person.

      Benjamin

      TravelerWritten February 2026

I am asking if you can facilitate visits to sites PRIOR to the tour dates

    • East Site IncOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, this may be possible, depending on which sites you would like to visit and how many people are involved. Pre-tour visits are usually arranged as a private extension. Please let me know the locations you have in mind and the number of participants, and I will be happy to advise on the options and details.

    Asked on December 9th, 2025

Can you tell me what it will take to upgrade any of the 4* accommodations to 5*? Can I get a revised listing of the hotels?

    Accommodation
    • East Site IncOperatorWritten December 2025

For our 5 Stans small group tour, hotel upgrades are not available. The group itinerary uses a fixed set of 4–5* (or best available) accommodations for all participants, so everyone stays together in the same hotels.

    • East Site IncOperatorWritten April 2025

Your 2-night accommodation in Bukhara will be at Asia Bukhara Hotel.

    • East Site IncOperatorWritten April 2025

Can you explain what that means/ I will travel alone and want to be sure also, that all my accommodation will be private. No sharing. Finally, the October 5 date does not show on your own website. Before I book flights, etc. I need your assurance that this trip will start on the 5th.

    Tour Details
    • East Site IncOperatorWritten January 2025

If you opt for a private tour, the "upgraded accommodation" option allows you to select alternative hotels that you may prefer over those listed in the itinerary. This provides greater flexibility to tailor your experience.
Rest assured that all your accommodations will be private, with no sharing. The single supplement fee, which ensures private rooms throughout your trip, is currently offered at a 50% discount until the end of January. The fee is now $412 instead of $825.
Regarding your chosen departure date of Sunday, October 5, 2025: I can confirm that this date is available and scheduled. I'm unsure why it doesn't appear on the website, but please rest assured that we can proceed with booking your tour for this date.
