For our 5 Stans small group tour, hotel upgrades are not available. The group itinerary uses a fixed set of 4–5* (or best available) accommodations for all participants, so everyone stays together in the same hotels.

I would like to know which countries require a visa. I will be travelling on an Australian passport.

As an Australian passport holder, you will only require a visa for Turkmenistan. For Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, no visa is necessary for Australian citizens for the duration of our tours.

Can you confirm that the 2 nights accommodations in Bukhara are in a hotel or a guest house?

Your 2-night accommodation in Bukhara will be at Asia Bukhara Hotel.

Is it straightforward to book this tour from the UK?

Yes, booking from the UK is simple, and we will assist you with the necessary details.

Can you explain what that means/ I will travel alone and want to be sure also, that all my accommodation will be private. No sharing. Finally, the October 5 date does not show on your own website. Before I book flights, etc. I need your assurance that this trip will start on the 5th.

If you opt for a private tour, the "upgraded accommodation" option allows you to select alternative hotels that you may prefer over those listed in the itinerary. This provides greater flexibility to tailor your experience. Rest assured that all your accommodations will be private, with no sharing. The single supplement fee, which ensures private rooms throughout your trip, is currently offered at a 50% discount until the end of January. The fee is now $412 instead of $825. Regarding your chosen departure date of Sunday, October 5, 2025: I can confirm that this date is available and scheduled. I'm unsure why it doesn't appear on the website, but please rest assured that we can proceed with booking your tour for this date.

The all-inclusive price for the 19-day 5 Stans tour is $7975 per person.

Is single supplement included? Are there discounts for repeat clients?

Currently, we are not offering returning clients discount and free single supplement. We managed to keep our prices the same since 2017, and now have a $1000 US single supplement fee.

Absolutely, many of our tourists are vegetarian, and happy with food selection we offer. The single supplement fee is $750.

The food throughout the trip was truly outstanding, and the wine tasting was a real treat. Uzbekistan was much more than what my wife, friends and I expected. Wonderful people, beautiful architecture, interesting landscape and an array of history. A wonderful trip!!! Turkmenistan was an eye opener. The capital reminded me of DisneyWorld. The northern area captivated my interest in the history of this part of the World which unfortunately is not part of the school or college curriculum in the West. The guides were: Timur an A+ As mentioned before "Not enough words to praise his professionalism, knowledge and services". His substitute that came with us to Tajikistan is still "green". The local guide in Tajikistan was also an A+. He made this part of the trip worthwhile notwithstanding it was the lesser place from the cultural point of view. The guide in Turkmenistan is excellent, somewhat shy but very nice, helpful and knowledgeable..   As an Australian passport holder, you will only require a visa for Turkmenistan. For Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, no visa is necessary for Australian citizens for the duration of our tours.

If spending a night in a tent is something you're particularly interested in, we do offer another version of the tour - 5 Stans + Hell's Gate in Darvaza - which includes a special overnight camping experience right at the edge of the famous gas crater in Turkmenistan.

Can you explain what that means/ I will travel alone and want to be sure also, that all my accommodation will be private. No sharing. Finally, the October 5 date does not show on your own website. Before I book flights, etc. I need your assurance that this trip will start on the 5th.

  If you opt for a private tour, the "upgraded accommodation" option allows you to select alternative hotels that you may prefer over those listed in the itinerary. This provides greater flexibility to tailor your experience.
  Rest assured that all your accommodations will be private, with no sharing. The single supplement fee, which ensures private rooms throughout your trip, is currently offered at a 50% discount until the end of January. The fee is now $412 instead of $825.
  Regarding your chosen departure date of Sunday, October 5, 2025: I can confirm that this date is available and scheduled. I'm unsure why it doesn't appear on the website, but please rest assured that we can proceed with booking your tour for this date.

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with East Site Inc. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and East Site Inc will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
