  This was a phenomenal trip/experience. TourRadar did a great job with all our transfers. Hotels were excellent and centrally located. All breakfasts were included and extremely good! You could walk to many places or walk a short distance to catch a bus to tour further interests in Mykonos and Santorini. Athens’s hotel was perfectly located for all interests. Everyone we encountered were so very nice. I totally recommend the fast ferries between islands. They are very efficient. Make sure to not over pack because you have to manage your own luggage up the ferry ramp. Once you’ve put your luggage away and find your assigned seat, it’s smooth sailing. Seats are nicer than on an airplane. Plus, you don’t spend hours in an airport. Don’t have to show any ID for the ferries. Just your ticket and there is no luggage restrictions. The only reason I didn’t rate my trip a 5 star is because of the guide we had in Athens doing a tour of Acropolis and the museum. They put us in a group of French people so we couldn’t hardly understand her because she didn’t relay questions asked in English. This was the worst part of our trip! Thankfully, it was in the beginning. I highly recommend this tour!Show more

  Thank you is not enough for all the things that were put together by Travel Zone for our Greece tour. In Athens, we had Dilimar and Elias making sure that every detail of our arrival, our hotel stay, our tours, and our transfers were carefully executed. Even the weather alerts were taken into consideration to make our stay fun! In Mykonos, our guides Dimitris and Angie also took care of us up to the last detail of checking in for the ferry transfer! And wow partying at Paradise Beach!!! Santorini was also planned well but nothing compared to how we well cared for by Dilimar, Elias, Dimitris, and Angie. They are true service providers and 5-star tour happiness! Very well recommended for Greece!Show more

  We would highly recommend this 10 day Athens, Mykonos, Santorin tour in Greece! It was very reliable with transportation pick ups and the drivers were so hospitable. I thought it very worthwhile to get the hotel upgrades, beautiful accommodations. All of our guides were exceptional in all three places!   My only complaint is that no one literally carried me to my hotel!! What a fabulous time. I've never done a tour before and it was everything and more. Transportation went without a hitch, hotels were amazing and well located and the tours provided you with a taste of the area. The people that the tour company provided in each locale were extremely helpful and easily accessible. Having down time allowed for exploring on your own and chilling on some amazing beaches. One of the best trips I've taken in a long time. I highly recommed this operator!Show more

  All in all, this was a good experience! We enjoyed the people and places we visited. There were no major issues, and it will be a trip that we will remember forever. As good of a trip as it was, I do believe there is room for improvement. There were three concerns that I would like to share. The first concern, had to do with the tour in Santorini. As beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable it was to visit Athens and Mykonos, Santorini was the primary place my wife wanted to see. It was the pictures of Eiya listed in the brochure of this tour that really made my wife excited about this trip. When we arrived in Santorini and spoke with the local point of contact, we were very disappointed to learn that Eiya was not included in the tour of Santorini. We were able to visit this town but we had to manage to find our own way. Displaying the pictures of Eiya in the brochure and not including this town as a destination within the tour seems to be misleading and gave us a sense of 'false advertising.' The second concern is related to the hotels that we had stayed at. We stayed at the Pan Hotel in Athens, Pelican Bay in Mykonos, and the 'upgrade' Aegean Hotel in Santorini. The Pan hotel was fine. It was small but everything worked, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. Pelican Bay was very nice as well. The only issue we had was related to the shower backing up into the water closet. This was annoying but bearable since it was such a beautiful hotel, great staff who were very helpful, and a good location. The Aegean Hotel was very beautiful. We did not swim at the hotel, but the four pools were very nice, the hotel was very, very clean. We did, unfortunately, find the front desk staff to be somewhat rood and short with us (very different from the other hotels). In addition, the bathroom was very in need of updating. The faucets were old, the mirror marked up, and the shower in our room was so small we ended up using the showers in the gym area which was somewhat inconvenient. The location was okay, but right across the street was an eye sore with what we assumed to be some sort of slowwww construction project. We truly struggled to see the 'upgrade' here. Or was the initial hotel that we were initially supposed to stay at even worse??? The third concern is probably something I would say is more of a lack of understanding on our part. When we signed up for this tour, we saw the 'semi-private' reference in the title but did not fully understand what this meant. It was through some inquiries prior to our departure that it became clear that we were not traveling with a group of people for the duration of the tour. This actually worked out better for us since we were traveling with another couple. We fully enjoyed the semi-private nature of the tour. The only reason I bring this topic up is to provide a suggestion. I believe we are not the only ones to not understand what the semi-private term may mean when it comes to a tour. I would suggest this be fully explained in the brochure (and if it is and I missed it...my apologies). As I had mentioned, this worked out very well for us...we enjoyed it. As we discussed this topic though, we would've been very disappointed if we had selected this tour with the expectation of joining a group of other people. Hope this makes sense. We regret that the Aegean Hotel did not fully meet your expectations, particularly regarding the bathroom and front desk service, and we appreciate you sharing this feedback — we will forward it to the hotel’s management team. Regarding the Santorini tour, we completely understand your point about Oia and how important it was for your wife to visit. The brochure images aim to showcase the island’s highlights, but we agree this could have caused confusion, and we will make sure this is more clearly presented in future materials. As for the semi-private format, we do explain in the introduction of the package that it includes three guided tours (one in each destination) and that travelers are not part of a single group throughout the entire trip.
