This tour is a semi-private partially guided tour. You will participate in three organized guided tours during the trip: Day 2 – Athens: approximately 5-hour group guided tour, Day 4 – Mykonos: approximately 4-hour semi-private tour, Day 7 – Santorini: approximately 6-hour semi-private tour. The rest of the time, you will be free to explore the destinations at your own pace. So, it is not a fast-paced group tour, and you will have plenty of free time in each destination. The transportation between the islands is mainly by ferry, not by bus. The package includes: Piraeus – Mykonos: Ferry, approximately 07:30–13:00, Mykonos – Santorini: Fast ferry, approximately 12:10–14:50, Santorini – Piraeus: Ferry, approximately 15:30–23:20. You will also have private transfers in Athens and shared transfers on the islands as mentioned in the itinerary. The guided tours do involve transportation by vehicle, but you will not be spending most of the trip on buses. For the 4-star category, accommodation in Athens is arranged at: The Stanley Hotel, Athens Avenue, The Golden Age Hotel or similar 4-star hotel. The specific hotel is subject to availability and will be confirmed according to the final arrangements. You will have 3 nights in Santorini, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the island and also have free time outside of the included semi-private tour. Regarding the all-white hotel, the hotels included in this package are 4-star properties such as El Greco, Santo Miramare, Strogili or similar. They are not the famous white cave-style hotels located in Oia. If your wife has a particular hotel in mind, you can send me the name or a photo and I can check whether we can arrange it as an upgrade, subject to availability and an additional supplement. The tour is designed to give you a good balance between organized activities and free time. You will have three included guided tours, but the remaining time is free for you to relax, explore, go to the beach, enjoy restaurants or simply take your time. Regarding Santorini, if your wife would specifically like to stay in Oia, we can also check availability for a hotel there with an additional supplement. We can look for a hotel in Oia or a similar option. If you would like to arrive in Athens one day before the tour, we can certainly add an extra night at the Athens hotel so you can arrive, rest and start the tour the following day without rushing.
