This is a self-guided tour which involves navigating portions of your trip independently (transfers from city to city, transfers between bus stations and your accommodation). These will all be organised for you and you will join independent tours along the way. It is highly unlikely that you & the guide will be the only people in one of the tours. You will be part of many small group activities with daily departures, most of them have an average of 5 travellers.

Itinerary is great, Tulum should stay 1 additional day and Cancun should stay 1-2 additional days. Transportation...
Itinerary is great, Tulum should stay 1 additional day and Cancun should stay 1-2 additional days. Transportation is always on time except the day from Tulum to Cancun, the ADO bus ticket should booked from Tulum to Cancun downtown instead of Cancun airport. Because our hostel was located in Cancun downtown. Accommodation is really bad situation that we experienced, Day 3, our itinerary showed we will be stay at Azul Cielo Hostel, but when we arrived, the front desk told us we do not have any reservation, after couple hours of communication, they arranged another hostel for us of that night. Day 6, We stayed at Vivo Escondido Hostel, it was under new management, we got the private room in the back of house (next to the Laundry area), front of the hostel looks well maintenance, but the room we stayed was bad. Day 11, we booked at Yaxkin hostel, but got replaced to Hotel Quinte Avenida, because Yaxkin Hostel was fully booked, they do not have a room for us. Day 15, it was booked at Lucky Traveler, but when we arrived there around 8pm, they told us, the room was not ready, there is a plumbing problem, so they sent us to Hotels Aquaria Tulum, this is the terrible night for us, because the toilet was not working, cannot be flush, there is no water tank in toilet, we experienced the worst situation of that night. The front desk was no English speaking, we couldn't communicate. So I will rate the accommodation in 1 star.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Bamba Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Bamba Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
