Asked on December 4th, 2025Could you please advise on if it's possible for three people (mom, dad, and 14-year-old) to stay in one room?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written December 2025Our standard rooming is twin-share, where 2 people share 1 room. Since we do not secure triple rooms, we can suggest the following options: The 14-year-old can share a room with one parent, and the other parent can book a private single-room upgrade, if available and at an additional cost. Or share a room with another traveller of the same gender.

Asked on November 23rd, 2025Does above tour include flights ? From Sydney & return flights ??
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025Flights are not included in this tour package. This means you'll need to arrange your own flights from Sydney to the starting point and your return flights home from the ending point. The starting and ending point of this tour will be in London. The tour itself includes your transport (via coach/bus) throughout the itinerary, accommodation, some other inclusions, and the services of your tour leader — but the flights are booked separately.

Asked on November 17th, 2025How many km are travelled on this tour?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025The total distance travelled on this tour is approximately 2,700 to ~3,200 km. This may vary slightly depending on local conditions, but it's a good overall estimate.

Asked on November 15th, 2025what is the way if travel besides motor coach
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025We at Expat Explore, only offers Coach Tours with pre-set destinations and itinerary. Currently, we do not offer alternative Travel Option(s) aside from our Coach/Bus.

Traveler•Written November 2025How do you cross the oceans?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025When the itinerary requires crossing water (such as travelling between England and France on the way to/from the UK), the journey is completed either by ferry or through the Eurotunnel (Channel Tunnel), depending on the schedule and availability for that departure. Once in the UK and Ireland, all travel continues by coach, including the ferry crossing between Wales and Ireland as part of the itinerary.

Patricia
Traveler•Written November 2025What are the extra costs we need to prepare for?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025Travellers typically budget for optional excursions, meals that aren't part of the itinerary, local transport during free time, entrance fees to attractions, personal expenses, potential tipping for tour leader and driver, travel insurance, and visa requirements.

Patricia
Traveler•Written November 2025Is there down time so we could go golfing or the trip is booked daily?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025There will be some free days in the itinerary, as well as pockets of free time on other days. Your tour leader will go over the schedule each day, so you can decide whether to enjoy that time independently or join optional excursions.

Asked on November 7th, 2025We are looking at UK-Ireland tours for September 2026 and would like to have a clearer idea of what excursions/activities are included in this tour and what excursions/activities are optional. For the optional excursions/activities, do you have an approximate cost per excursion/activity?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025Included excursions/activities: Many sightseeing stops, driving tours, and visits to key landmarks are included in the tour price, such as Stonehenge, Bath, Blarney Castle, Loch Ness, and more. Some hotels also include welcome or group dinners. Optional excursions/activities include: Alnwick Castle & Gardens, Alnwick Castle Only, Alnwick Garden Only, Full Irish Experience, Heart of Scotland – Dinner, Show, and Storytelling, Loch Ness Cruise, Ring of Kerry Day Trip, Shakespeare's Birthplace & Afternoon Tea Experience, Sights of Stirling, Stonehenge (Apr-May & Sep-Mar), Tales of Galway, The Beatles Story & Museum, Titanic Belfast Experience, Whiskey & Guinness Experience. Exact pricing for optional excursions is still being finalized.

Traveler•Written November 2025Is there any way to get a detailed itinerary for the Included excursions/activities?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025The full program for your tour can be found on the website. We do not provide a detailed itinerary for optional excursions, as these are designed to be flexible and take place during free days or free time. You will have the opportunity to book these excursions directly on tour unless stated as prebooking only.

Asked on October 13th, 2025My bother is 82 and my sister in law would require a wheel chair part time. Would the tour work for them
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025While we warmly welcome travellers aged 75 and above, we do ask that all participants are fit enough to manage the pace of the tour. This includes boarding the coach independently (as our vehicles do not have wheelchair lifts), walking on uneven ground during sightseeing, and sometimes navigating hotels that may not have lifts or step-free access. At the moment, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on this tour due to space and logistical limitations, though a walking cane is acceptable.

Asked on October 7th, 2025Some of my friends wanted to go on this tour about 6 to 8 travelers. Are there optional tours during those free days? What is the detailed cost per traveler, is there a discount for early booking? What airport in London?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025Optional excursions available include: Alnwick Castle & Gardens, Loch Ness Cruise, Stonehenge, The Beatles Story & Museum, Titanic Belfast Experience, and Whiskey & Guinness Experience. The tour cost per traveler is USD 3,265.00. Pricing works on a bucket system with early booking offering lower costs. The tour starts in London, and London Heathrow (LHR) is the most convenient airport.

Asked on October 4th, 2025I missed the first day of the tour due to an airline problem. My travel insurance company is requesting a statement from your company as to the value of this day for my claim.

Traveler•Written October 2025I am trying to get a statement from you with the value of the first day of our tour. We were forced to miss the first day due to airline delays. I filed a claim with my travel insurance company. They require a statement from the tour company with a value for this missed day.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025Our tours are sold as a complete package, which means we don't assign a fixed daily value to each part of the itinerary. However, if you'd like, we can calculate an estimated value by dividing the total tour cost by the number of days and using that amount as the value for the missed day.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025Since our tours are sold as full packages and not on a per-day basis, the only way to estimate a daily value for your travel insurance would be to divide the total tour cost by the number of days. We cannot issue any official documentation for travel insurance purposes, as these are only provided in cases where the tour is fully cancelled or when major disruptions prevent travellers from joining.

Asked on September 30th, 2025Is it possible that you could accept him on the tour? The detail is that his companion, his father, is 85 years old.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025We do accept travelers of all ages (above 10 years old), including your client's father at 85 years old. However, we kindly highlight that our tours can involve long walking tours (sometimes 2–3 hours), early starts, long coach journeys, and in some cases, hotels without lifts or step-free access. We therefore recommend confirming that he is comfortable with the fitness and mobility requirements of the tour. If needed, we may also ask for a doctor's note to confirm he is fit to travel. As long as these requirements can be met, he would be very welcome to join the trip.

Asked on September 19th, 2025If there are two people together what is the deposit? Is it refundable up to a certain date? Are the meals included? Are all the transportation and tours covered in the price?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written September 2025For two people booking together, the deposit is 10% of the total tour cost for your chosen departure. Please note this deposit is only refundable within our 10-day Money Back Guarantee period. After this time, it becomes non-refundable. The tour price covers all transportation on our modern, air-conditioned coach, as well as the services of your professional tour leader throughout. A number of meals are also included (mainly breakfasts and some dinners), while others are free so you can enjoy local cuisine at your own pace. Daily sightseeing and guided walking tours are included in the itinerary, and there are optional excursions you can add during the trip if you'd like to enhance your experience.
