  What time does the tour start? What time does the tour end? How much extra for a private room? Can you help with timing and rates for a nonstop flight from Atlanta and return? Is it possible to fly in on the day the tour begins? I'm concerned about timing or whether an extra hotel day is necessary. My dates are flexible if there are significant savings on airfare.

    The tour starts in London at 6:30 AM on Day 1, so you'll need to be at the meeting point and ready to depart at that time.
    
    The tour concludes in London at approximately 6:00 PM on the final day, although this can vary depending on traffic conditions. We recommend allowing some flexibility when planning your onward travel.
    
    The cost of a private room upgrade varies by departure date and availability. You can view the exact supplement by selecting your preferred departure and adding the private room option in the booking cart, where a full price breakdown will be shown.
    
    While we don't arrange flights directly, you're welcome to book your own flights to suit your schedule. Given the early 6:30 AM departure time, we strongly recommend arriving in London at least one day before the tour begins, especially if you're travelling from Atlanta on an international flight. This helps avoid any stress caused by flight delays or jet lag.
    
    Similarly, as the tour ends around 6:00 PM, we suggest booking your return flight for later that evening or, for extra peace of mind, staying an additional night in London before flying home.
    
    Although pre- and post-tour accommodation isn't included in the tour package, you're free to arrange extra hotel nights independently if you'd like additional flexibility.
    
    Since your travel dates are flexible, it may also be worth comparing different departure dates, as airfare can vary significantly depending on the season and day of travel.

    We do welcome many solo travellers on our tours, and our groups are very mixed in age and travel experience. You will not be alone in this, as we often have travellers who are visiting internationally for the first time as well as others who are more experienced.
    
    Our tours are designed to be group-based and fully guided, so everything is organised for you, including accommodation, transport, and sightseeing. This makes it a great option if you are not an experienced traveller, as you will always have support from your Tour Leader and the group throughout the journey.

  I am 73, my sister is 78. Do you have a tour that is low intensity? We can both walk, but my sister needs to sit occasionally, to avoid breathing issues.

    All travellers are required to carry their own luggage throughout the tour. Our walking tours can last up to around 3 hours at a time, and some locations may include stairs, uneven surfaces, and periods of continuous walking. We always want you to enjoy the experience comfortably, so we encourage you to carefully review the itinerary and consider whether the pace and activity level feel suitable for you and your sister.

  I read that we pay for optional excursions in cash. (1) So no credit cards? (2) Does "cash" mean local currency (pounds / euros) or will US dollars be OK?

    Optional excursions on this tour can be paid for by card, so cash is not required.
    
    If you prefer to bring cash for personal expenses, we recommend using the local currency of the country you are visiting rather than US dollars.

    This is a 13-day, fully-guided tour starting and ending in London, covering 5 countries: England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland.
    
    What's included: 12 nights accommodation in 3 & 4-star hotels, 12 breakfasts and 6 dinners, Travel by air-conditioned coach, 19 included experiences, such as: Exploring Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon, Visiting Blarney Castle and the Cliffs of Moher, Seeing the Giant's Causeway and Loch Ness, Touring cities like Belfast, York, and Cambridge, Plus scenic stops and cultural highlights along the way.
