I'd like to know if you ever accommodate smaller groups? We prefer to travel with 30 or less.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

This tour accommodates a maximum of 40 travelers, so smaller groups like yours are certainly welcome. While we don't run private tours for fewer than 40, you'll still enjoy a more intimate experience if the group remains small.

I am having trouble understanding which website I visit Expat tours or Tour Radar. I am getting different reference numbers when I log in. I am trying to read which excursions are available. Do I visit Tour Radar because I can't see the list of excursions but am seeing a list on Expat Tours. IN the meantime if you could tell me what the full Irish Experience is, I would really appreciate it. If I decide to experience it how do I pay you for it.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Regarding excursions: only the Full Irish Experience requires pre-booking. If you're interested, you'll need to request it via your confirmed booking dashboard, so we can add it to your booking. All other optional excursions can be booked directly with your tour leader during the trip.

      Full Irish Experience (€199.00)

Experience the best of Dublin in one unforgettable day and SAVE! Book the Full Irish Experience and enjoy three popular excursions in one value-packed bundle: Ireland's Identity, Whiskey & Guinness Experience, and Irish Music Evening. Start your day with a visit to Ireland's most famous cemetery, followed by an immersive, audio-guided tour of the award-winning Irish Emigration Museum and a guided tour through the historic GPO Museum. Then, sip your way through a tour and tasting at the Pearse Lyons Distillery, before heading to the iconic Guinness Storehouse for a perfectly poured pint of Ireland's most-loved beer. Cap it all off with a hearty Irish dinner and a lively traditional music performance at a local pub. One day, countless memories, and great savings!

Please Note: Due to popularity, this excursion must be booked at least 15 days prior to the start of the tour and cannot be booked on tour. This excursion is subject to availability and is non-refundable

What is the cost of travel insurance for two?

    Payments
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

We highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance, ensuring you won't need to worry about emergencies that can happen anytime, anywhere, before or during your travels. Insurance can cover the cost of your adventure in the case of an unforeseen cancellation. It ensures that you do not have to worry about any unplanned changes to your travel plans, such as having to rush home to an ill family member or having an adventure changed or cancelled because of a natural disaster. It can even help with smaller things - like lost luggage or stolen cameras. When selecting a travel insurance policy we recommend a minimum coverage of USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, medical, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. Before you book your adventure, you're welcome to obtain a quote with TourRadar's insurance partner, XCover, and check out the policy details by clicking into the date you're looking to travel from the adventure details page. You'll see the Insurance Add-On section with all the details there! If you have already booked your adventure, you're welcome to add insurance to your booking with TourRadar's insurance partner, XCover, by clicking the "Get Travel Insurance" button on your booking conversation page and you'll be able to add this straight away. PLEASE NOTE: Booking insurance after booking your adventure does not apply to residents of Canada. Travelers who book from Canada can only purchase insurance through XCover at the same time as buying the adventure. Remember that insurance requires payment upfront at the time of confirmation so we will take payment straight away from the card on file when your insurance policy is confirmed.

    Asked on March 2nd, 2026

Concerned about reviews about how "fast paced" Tour is and someone said not good for Seniors due to walking about 4 miles in a day. We are 4 sisters between age 67 and 74 and our oldest sister cannot walk very far in 1 day...or very fast. We certainly can't walk 4 miles in 1 day. Will this be a problem or can we walk at a slower pace. The reviews Also mentioned several people got sick. I assume that had nothing to do with the tour but still concerning. Can you put our minds at east on these issues. Especially the fast pace and walking so much in a day. Are there other options?

    Age Range
    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

We welcome all travellers and want to ensure you are as comfortable as possible, so it's important to understand the pace and physical demands of the tour. Expat Explore tours are fast-paced by design, as we aim to show you as much as possible of each destination. This means there can be long driving stretches without stops and walking tours in most cities that can last up to 3 hours, often on cobbled streets, steps, or uneven surfaces. Many cities are vast and historic, and while these walks give you the best experience of the culture and sights, they do require a reasonable level of fitness.

Our tours are not suitable for travellers with wheelchairs or severe mobility issues, and not all hotels have lifts, so carrying luggage up and down stairs may sometimes be required. That said, you are always welcome to walk at your own pace, take rests as needed, or sit out certain walking activities, and your Tour Leader will provide guidance and support throughout the trip.

We understand that your oldest sister may have limitations with walking distances, so pacing yourselves and taking breaks will help make the tour enjoyable. Keeping these considerations in mind will ensure you all have a comfortable and memorable experience, while still getting the most out of the highlights the tour offers.

Is it possible to get more information about the hotels that are being utilized on this trip? Also, could we extend the trip by a day or so? • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

While we would love to help you stay longer, we unfortunately do not offer the service of booking pre or post-tour accommodation directly.

Do you have a more detailed itinerary on what tourist spots will be seen? My aunt is keen to visit the following: Buckingham Palace, Notting Hill Store, Oxford, Cambridge, & London Bridge - want to check if these are part of the tour.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

For this tour, although it starts and ends in London, it technically does not have a tour within London. You may check the Highlights in the Tour Page and also the itinerary to check the places that the tour will visit and focus.

I'm wondering if the names of the hotels are provided somewhere?

    Accommodation
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

Due to the fact that our hotels are subject to change, we do not provide inaccurate information beforehand to minimize any confusion that may be caused. We therefore only provide Hotel info to customers around 90 Days before the tour starts.
