Please find below the indicative hotel list for the April 11, 2026 departure. Please note that this hotel list is subject to change depending on availability closer to departure. If changes are required, accommodation of a similar standard and location will always be used.

I will be a solo traveller and wanted to know a little about this particular trip: 1. How many people have booked on so far? 2. To your knowledge, are any solo travellers? 3. Do you know the age ranges of those on the trip so far or if many are over 30 years of age?

We currently have 9 people booked with 3 spots left. 5 out of the 9 are solo travelers and age range is 50 - 70+ with majority being in their 50's.

For this kind of a tour the accommodation will be at a comfortable hotel with 3-4 stars rating. Since the hotels are included in the tour package we are unable to change the hotels included.

Accommodation on this trip will be in comfortable hotels at a 3-to-4-star level, with private amenities and often plenty of local character. Majority of the days, you will be spending 2 nights in each city. Transport on this trip will be in private vehicle, and we are unable to advise how many passengers will be in the bus as this thoroughly depends on the number of passengers booked on this departure.

A single supplement is available at an additional cost of £810, if you prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement applies to all nights on your trip and is subject to availability.

This tour exceeded all my expectations. Our tour guide, Victor, was knowledgeable and intuitive. He had a great sense of humor and a broad based understanding of the things the group members were interested in. Our driver, Manuel, was safe and professional. The various guides at the local historical sites were excellent. I learned a lot. I especially enjoyed the opportunities to sample traditional foods in peoples homes as well as wonderful restaurants. When two of the group became ill and could not travel, it was handled professionally and they were assisted in their recovery and helped to rejoin the group when they were able. I am looking forward to the opportunity to tour with them again in the future.Show more

Beside that, in the itinerary of Premium Mexico it is mentioned that the travel includes private vehicle, plane and boat but flight tickets are not included. is it correct?   The flight between Oaxaca to Playa Del Carmen is included in the trip cost. The international flight is not included and aside from the unincluded meals and optional activities some other expenses would be insurance and tipping however that is not mandatory.

  Mexico City to Puebla - travel time is approximately 3.5 hours. Puebla to Oaxaca - travel time is approximately 4.5 hours. Oaxaca to Salina Cruz - travel time will be approximately 5 hours. Salina Cruz to San Cristobal de las Casas - travel time is approximately 7 hours. Short drive to the town of Zincantan - travel time is approximately 1.5 hours. San Cristobal de Las Casas to Palenque - travel time is approximately 6.5 hours. Palenque to Merida - travel time is approximately 7 hours. Merida to Playa del Carmen - travel time is approximately 4.5 hours. The drives are not too long and are broken up by stops along the way.
