Where do we fly into and out of?

The tour begins in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and this is where you should fly into. I suggest a day or two before the departure date so you can sightseeing around Victoria Falls. The tour ends in Pretoria, the nearest airport is Johannesburg. Both Victoria Falls (VFA) and Johannesburg (JNB) are well served by international airlines.

I just want to know how much money I have to pay in cash for tip etc

Do you offer this small group tour or similar accommodated rather than camping

I am afraid we only offer Mozambique as camping group tour and not as accommodated or Small Group

I love this tour but I don't really understand the extra paying in the booking and would love to have a list what is really included in the tour. For example what kind of safari and so on and what I can book extra and how much this will be in total. There is a second tour I'm interested in - the 19 day South West Safari, but I can not decide which one and here the same what is really included and what is the prepaid pass and what can I book in addition.

The main reason that some of the highlights are covered by the Adventure Pass is so that the ground suppliers are paid locally and directly for their services. The 22SMZE14, 11 August tour requires 5 additional passengers to meet the minimum passenger numbers requirement to be guaranteed to run. The next likely 22SWS19 tour to run is on the 21st of September. I would suggest the 22DTR19 tour departing on the 6th or 20th of August - as these tour dates are fully guaranteed to run.

What is the Adventure Pass?

Every Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.

The experience in Kruger was fantastic, seeing many animals in their natural surroundings. Moyaney and elias were both fantastic. The area we covered was amazing with lots of differet experiences. Sani pass was terrifying but a must do on the trip. Not on the list again. Seeing how people lived in eswantini, lesotho was humbling. The school vist was beautiful. Education has to be paid for which makes a significant difference to childrens futures. The food was mostly good, but dud not like the maize mash, it an acquired taste. There was an alternative. What an amazing shepherds pie we had. 10 out of 10 Moyaney. St Lucia ia memorable fir accomodation, hippos and alternative activities. I would love to have stayed longer. Such a wonderful mix of destinations, camp sites etc, a once in a lifetime trip. Durban was a let dow. Organisation was great, drives at times long but with a good group, music and laughter it was ok. I would have loved more 2 night stays.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
