  Ayoub did a great job explaining the itinerary at the welcome get together. He kept us informed on the What’s app for each day. Shared his knowledge of the areas we were visiting. I appreciated the time allowed for restroom breaks. The facilities chosen were good as were the restaurants for lunch. We were able to really experience Morocco with all the stops and optional activities. There was plenty of free time to explore on our own. I highly recommend this trip. The tour CEO, Ayoub, did a great job and helped make this a memorable destination.Show more

  Our "Highlights of Morocco" with G Adventures was excellent. Itinerary was interesting and covered the gamut from the Pillars of Hercules to the Sahara and High Atlas Mountains. Culture was a major emphasis, with visits to various sites including a Berber Nomad camp to two G-Adventures to meet locals and learn about the programs. There was never any pressure to buy anything. It was far from a "shopping tour." Hotels ranged from four-star modern to mountain gite rustic. The guide was informed, and kept the group (limited to 12) informed. There were no issues of "No one told me". The tour was good value.Show more

  Our CEO Lahcen did great job. Over all the route designed is good to cover most important attractions area. here are some my suggestions: A: If possible have lunch stop in Hercules Caves instead in Tangier (my reasons: 1, optional for people who want to see the African "map" cave, 2, was a long drive from Casablanca by the time arrive Tangier to have lunch) B: if possible instead go east road the south direction from Site Archéologique de Volubilis to Fes maybe we could go south to Meknes have a short stop, then east (I looked map is even faster to get to G for good lunch place) C: Regarding the mountain hiking day from Imlil and night stay in Auberge Tafraout in Aroumd. If possible maybe GAdvanture could have a small “Toiletries bag” (one time use of toothpaste and brush similar as some airlines giveaway) with GA company Logo, and it also could be a G for good Project from local hand made materials doubling as souvenir… if such item provided and hand out by the G supported Auberge we will no need to take too many overnight items other than clothes, and I don't think such a kit itself cost-wise will more than hire car to carry our backpacks. D: Suggest add Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech as one of the optional. Unfortunately I am very disappointed that I missed this place due to not book ticket myself ahead of time in which I even had extra night stay in the same hotel booked by GA in order fly to my next destination. please note: I did asked our CEO in day one orientation, I did asked him again in Sahara desert what our group plans in Marrakech, over all I did asked at least 3 times regarding when should I booking the ticket for Jardin Majorelle. Until I found out by myself in a hardway that all tickets are sold out in the 3days I am in Marrakech, If I knew I will for sure booked myself and would not missed it. E: in Marrakech GA did hire an local guide but instead if take us to go and point out some "famous landmarks" in old town, we were sufferering more than 2 hours in endless narrow, crowded, no fresh air, covered pathways in the unless markets. Suggest next time GA could hire local guide not going the souks but rather the "famous landmarks". for now Amy Y. YuShow more

Missing a site you were excited about is disappointing, especially after checking in multiple times, and we’ll be reviewing this with our local operations to ensure better guidance for future travellers.   Itinerary of 15 days was OK except for Fes to Merzouga. It took 11.5 hours to get Merzouga because of snow overnight...
  Itinerary of 15 days was OK except for Fes to Merzouga. It took 11.5 hours to get Merzouga because of snow overnight over the mountains. Road to see Barbary apes was closed and we detour to get Merzouga. It was surprised to see rolling hills of green, snowcapped mountains. It was very interesting to stay in traditionally decorated accommodations of Hotel Madrid in Chefchaouen, Auberge de Dunes d'Or in Merzouga and a riad in Essaouira. Accommodations are classified "Standard" in this tour which was different standards from European or US. All accommodations did not have kettle in a room, No hair drier except Marrakech. Most of hotel had only one or two hair driers. I suggest bringing own kettle and hair drier. Wish I could obtain detail information of tour, accommodations conditions, locations, meal information before I make the tour booking. Available meals were almost same Moroccan dishes, like Tagine and soup, breakfast was sweet cookies, pastry, baguette, boiled egg. very few fresh salad or fruit. I could not eat instant cup noodle and soups I had because no kettle available. It was difficult to ask to get boiled water at accommodations. Morocco is a beautiful country and get unique experience but choosing right tour based on traveller's comfort level makes enjoyable travel experience.Show more

  Excellent adventure tour in Morocco. We visited so different sites: ocean front historical towns, historical villages in mountains, Sahara desert and hiogh Atlas mountains covered by snow. We have visited exciting medinas and markets, local artisant shops and restaurants. Moroccan food is a special treat by itself. Tajin is one of the best meals I could imagine. Our tour was led by a very knowlegable local CEO-guide Malika Loud. We travelled in a 14-15 seater minivan. The minivan could be bigger for our group of 14 travellers. In summary, I can only highly recommend this tour for people who are interested in active travel.Show more
