You can arrive at any time on day 1. Welcome meeting is between 5 and 7 pm. Transfers are not included but can be added at additional cost. You can depart at any time on day 9. Activities can be booked locally with tour guide. Credit cards are useful but not guaranteed to work. Bring a combination of US dollars cash and cards. Cancellation policies vary: 30 days prior keeps 20% deposit, closer to departure increases non-refundable amount.

Currently the trip on 23rd December is on request, so cannot be instantly confirmed. You would need to request the booking via the Tour Radar portal and we would then send the request to the local office to see if it can be confirmed. It can take 4-5 business days for us to get an answer, and there is no guarantee it will be confirmed. If its not able to be confirmed, then you will not be charged for the trip. We recommend that you do not book flights prior to receiving a confirmation from us.

There is 1 lunch included on this trip. Eating is a big part of traveling. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip.

Here is our cancellation policy: Up to 30th day prior to departure: Your 20% non-refundable deposit is saved on your file as Lifetime Deposit towards a future tour with G Adventures. From 29th day to 3rd day prior to departure: 70% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 50% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime deposit. From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show : 95% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 75% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime Deposit.

We are able to request arrival and departure transfers. The price is $70 per a transfer. No there is not an option to add a meal package. This tour includes 1 lunch and all other meals will need to be paid for while on tour. The tour leader will give suggestions and recommendations for restaurants! This tour does not include any sightseeing in San Jose.
