I went on the G Adventures 9 day Costa Rica Quest tour. Our guide, Daniel, was great. Helpful and professional the whole time. Accommodations were sufficient except for spotty wifi. Also, there wasn't any hot water in Quepos but it wasn't a huge issue since it's so hot and humid there, a cold shower kind of felt nice. Other than that, the activities were great. The whole trip went smoothly. Overall, I had a great time. My one recommendation is to bring clothes for cold and hot weather. Monteverde was quite cold (for this Californian at least) and I wished I had brought a few more sweaters. Pura Vida!

The Costa Rica Quest tour WAS THE BEST! It was packed with options to zipline, jump from waterfalls, white water raft, or simply just take in this incredible country with tango lessons and walks through the cloud forest. Our guide Pamela was full of energy and life. Accommodations were nicer than expected. A lot of reviews call out that activities are not included — duh, welcome to G Adventures! You are paying for transit, accommodations, and a guide from the region — it's a steal and totally worth it! I am a solo female traveller and made incredible friends. One of my favorite ever trips. Experience Pura Vida for yourself!

The trip was a blast!!! Lots of activities to choose from for different levels of thrill seekers. Our guide ' Carlos' was amazing good knowledge of nature and quick to respond to the group & indivual requests. Transport was adequate but 'free wifi' was unreliable ( not huge issue for me just saying) 50% of the 4 hotels we stayed in, rooms need to be upgraded. The best was Hotel Mimos in Manuel Antonio. Just keep an open mind and go with the 'PURA VIDA' flow & you will have fun

There were a few included activities and then a vartiety of choices for the optional activities. I especially enjoyed the hot springs evening, white water rafting and ziplining in Monteverde. Manuel Antonio park was optional but is definitely a must see for the wildlife and the beaches/beach hikes. The guide was enthusiastic and had a lot of local knowledge which helped a lot, especially for where to eat and local transport. Only one meal was included for lunch on day 2, but most of the restaurant options were very affordable.

The trip was absolutely amazing!!! It went all perfectly thanks to our Tour Guide Adriana! She was taking care of all the details and give us all the information we needed. Moreover the trip was nice as the fact that was organized but also it gave you the freedom to do whatever you preferred to do. Costa Rica is amazing and i highly recommend this trip. Me and my Girlfriend really enjoyed it.

This trip doesn't include most of meals and most of activities. Even the entrance to Manuel Antonio, which was only $16 USD, wasn't included. It made me wonder how it costs us around $1200 per person for the 8 day trip while there were 16 people in the group. They overcharged us for transporation ($10 USD per person to go to a river 15-20 min away from the hotel, 15 people in a van); even local taxis are cheaper than their transportation. Some of hotels they book are motel grade 2-star hotels (online ratings show 3 or 4 stars but their actual quality is much lower) that are old and have issues including poor soundproof (you can hear your next door's conversation and the windows are not fully closed), low water pressure, no hot water, location (far from downtown area and other attractions), etc. Single room costs $100 extra each night which is a lot considering the quality of hotels and price when booked individually. Overall the actual cost for this trip is about three times of the price including the flight, activities and meals. It's hard not to go without those optional activities as there is so much free time but there is not much to do for free.
