  I was disappointed with the booking process as there was no direct communication with the tour provider Intrepid....
  I was disappointed with the booking process as there was no direct communication with the tour provider Intrepid. Further TR should have explained that there is a "Upgrade" version of the same 9 Day Galapagos trip package. I would have preferred the upgrade version of the package with options of paying single supplements etc However I was lucky to be in the young vibrant group just being able to keep up with their more energetic a activites. That keeps me feeling young! Beginning with Marcello and Carlos doing the briefing, they are so helpful with questions. Carlos is contactable throughout the trip with my chances in the return flight and connect me with a stay in a Jungle lodge in Cocao. Special mention of Priscela, our tour leader: She showed unprofessionalism and very attentive to my safety and comfort. Over concerned perhaps for possibly unforeseeable frailty in a 75 young senior. She worries about me during the tour more than my mother! So thanks very much Intrepid for a memorable journey in GalapagosShow more

Very knowledgeable, always sharing information and answering all sort of questions while preparing us every day as well for what it would be the next experience. She also provided a very kind and special attention to every single need of the group participants. Visiting Galapagos is a great experience. Tourradar, through Intrepid and its staff made it very pleasant to me.Show more

  Once we got all the paperwork sorted & through the airport COVID checks etc the fun began! I liked the family style...
  Once we got all the paperwork sorted & through the airport COVID checks etc the fun began! I liked the family style accommodation & the hotel in Santa Cruz, all within walking distance of everything, the same in Quito in the old city. Genesis our very knowledgeable guide from Intrepid was lovely. I think she could suggest different levels for eating out since it is pricier on the islands. Edwardo in Quito with Intrepid was great at guiding us through the airport protocol with test results needed etc but he should have been at the airport to meet us on our return instead of sending someone else as because of COVID we all had. a lot of questions about our last night and our onward journeys the following day & had to wait for him to arrive before we could go out to eat. However these points will be brought up along with others when I write my harsher review to Intrepid regarding the unnecessary anxiety they caused me regarding the lack of communication it letting me know A) that I was even going on the trip (I found out 2 days before)!! Then, I was frantic for those 2 days trying to find out the starting Hotel in Quito. I FINALLY found out the name at almost midnight, 7 hrs before catching the bus into the City. I know by the emails from Tourradar that you were also doing your best so I portion no blame on you. I never want to go through that anxiety again & would definitely choose a different company (probably G.Adventures, over Intrepid in the future).Show more

They help those exploring with us to truly get under the skin of the destination along with the support you were provided locally in regards to testing, travelling has certainly changed these days. We are disappointed though about the lack of information provided prior to departure, we do aim to provide as much necessary information in our Essential Trip Information, as it benefits no one to find out two day before and on the day. We are continually working on improving our booking services and given this we have passed on your feedback to the relevant teams to review and take any necessary internal action.
