Would the travellers be able to join the group on Day 2 if they arrive in Bangkok at 16:10? Specifically, would they have enough time to meet the group in time for the overnight train to Chiang Mai? Is it possible for them to leave the tour on Day 20 after the flight to Ho Chi Minh City?

Yes, they can join on day 2 but would be at the travellers expense. We normally book the overnight train for the evening around 8pm but would need to finalise the timings with our local team. It should not be a problem to join later, just as long as you make the overnight train. It is also no issue to leave on the 20th - the travellers will just need to sign off the tour with the guide.

Are travelers required to share rooms?

Travelers can choose to share rooms or select a single supplement option for private rooms, subject to availability.

What should I do if I need a receipt for hotel transfers?

Complete the required forms to receive your transfer vouchers. You will find instructions on how to meet your G Adventures representative at the airport.

How much luggage is permitted on the tour?

You can bring a backpack and a rolling bag of small to medium size. Hard shell suitcases are not recommended. Your luggage should ideally weigh between 10-15kg.

How are pre and post-tour accommodations priced?

Prices of pre and post-tour accommodations are determined closer to the tour dates and vary by location.

What are the conditions for carrying luggage?

Luggage should be lightweight as you will carry it yourself, ideally between 10-15kg. Suitcase restrictions include no hard shells and size limits for storage on transport.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
