There was so much to experience, and we had a great time with people from all over the world! That said, it was pretty exhausting at times. For one thing, we spent three nights on overnight buses, which sometimes meant getting up in the middle of the night and then trying to get back to sleep after checking into the hostel. Also, unfortunately, fewer activities were included than expected, so we definitely had to spend extra money. Some of the guides were great, while others weren’t so good. Overall, the tour is a really good option if you don’t want to travel alone.

The Bravo team are just brilliant and every tour, car pick up, airport transfer was seamless and so smooth. Most of our tours were private, with around 4 being group tours. All of them were great and tour guides were fantastic. Huge thanks to Ha Nguyen, our Bravo representative, she messaged via WhatsApp every day to confirm start times for the next day and make sure we were ok, she was just amazing. Now, two things to share about this trip and from our experience:- Hotels:-we booked the 4* option and then upgraded around half before we travelled (with Bravo), this is just our opinion, but 4* in SE Asia isn’t 4* in UK standards. We upgraded some while there. It’s important to say though, all were clean and this is just ‘our’ opinion. The other thing to mention is that this is a really ‘full on’ adventure, so rest before you go. We are aged 58 & 68, so getting on a bit and could have done with an odd rest day, but every trip was so good, we didn’t want to miss them. This was a trip of a lifetime and we loved it all, so don’t hesitate to book it.
