I would recommend this tour especially for first-time visitors who want more than just a quick desert excursion. Four days gave us a nice combination of Moroccan culture, scenery and Sahara time. The photos from this trip don't really show how much you experience in four days. The road itself became part of the adventure, with small villages, mountain scenery, kasbahs and completely different landscapes as we headed toward the Sahara. Merzouga was obviously a highlight, but I also enjoyed the quieter moments along the way. We stopped in places we would probably have missed if we were traveling on our own, and having a private driver meant we could take our time when something caught our attention. The desert night was simple and peaceful. We enjoyed the camel ride, the camp and the evening around the fire, but what I liked most was waking up early and seeing the dunes before everything got busy.Show more

Three days, one small bag, and somehow a lot of memories. I liked that this tour didn’t try to fill every minute with sightseeing. There was time to enjoy the scenery, have a relaxed lunch, stop when we wanted and simply watch the landscape change as we got closer to Merzouga. The night in the Sahara was the part I will remember most. The dunes were beautiful, but what made it special was how quiet everything became after sunset. Sitting outside the camp under the stars felt very far away from normal life. The drive to Marrakech the next day was long, but our driver made it comfortable and stopped at some nice places along the way. He was also happy to answer our questions about Morocco and the areas we were passing through. If you only have a few days between Fes and Marrakech, I think this is one of the best ways to use them. You get the mountains, the desert and a real taste of southern Morocco without needing to arrange everything yourself.Show more

Eight days was a good amount of time for us. We got to see quite a lot of Morocco, but the trip never felt like we were just collecting places from a list. The desert was definitely the part I was looking forward to most. The first time we saw the dunes, it felt completely different from anything we'd experienced earlier in the trip. The evening at the camp was quiet and relaxed, and waking up there the next morning was worth it. I also enjoyed the stops between Casablanca and Marrakech. Some were quick, others gave us more time to look around, and the changing scenery kept the journey interesting. We had plenty of opportunities to take photos and try local food along the way. The private arrangement was a big plus for us. We could travel at our own rhythm, and everything was taken care of without making the experience feel too formal. I'd recommend this tour if you want to combine the main highlights with a real desert experience. For eight days, we felt that we got a very good taste of Morocco.Show more
