This is not a great tour for solo travelers. You are with different people during transport, in hotels and even scheduled activities. You might be going zip lining and someone else you’ve met will be zip lining the same day but at a different time. Also, it’s very difficult to reach anyone while on tour, turn around time for any communication is 24 hrs. and frequently the app would not work. Also, my Spanish is limited (my fault) and a lot of people in the groups were Spanish speakers so communication could sometimes be a challenge - but the people were so friendly and kind. The positives, unbelievable sights and experiences. Transportation was where and when you were told and you always got where you needed to be.Show more

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica! The rooms in each location were Very nice, and the staff lovely. I would emphasize that the eco-lodge doesn't have AC, so travelers can pack portable fans. All tour guides were fantastic, helpful, and friendly. They were all full of knowledge and enthusiastic about what they were showing us, which made the experiences so much more meaningful. We did more than just see beautiful fauna and wildlife, we really learned a lot too! All transportation was nice, had ac, and were on time. Our private transportation from Manuel Antonio to San Jose airport was spectacular!! Jasper was THE BEST showing us Scarlett Macaws (which we hadn't seen yet), 13 Tucans in one tree (WOW!), and Crocodiles along the route. He made what we expected to be a long boring drive to the airport, an amazing last adventure! Give that man a raise!! 😁🥰 All additional excursion options were great. Only a few things that would be helpful is to include how long each excursion takes to help with planning on what to bring...only pick up times are listed on the itinerary. And communication was left until last minute as to what was happening next, so we were all a little confused sometimes as to what to do. We all got to where we needed to be, but as planners, we would like to have more information prior as to know what to expect. Overall, it was a WONDERFUL experience! Thanks to everyone who was involved! I will absolutely be looking to book through Tourradar again.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Destination Services Costa Rica. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
