I’m usually the person who gets tired of sightseeing after a few days, so I was a little unsure about doing a 10-day tour. In the end, the variety made it work really well. The imperial cities were full of history and interesting places to explore, while the mountains gave us a completely different side of Morocco. Then came the Sahara, which felt like another trip altogether. The contrast between the busy medinas and the quiet desert was probably my favorite part. Having a private driver made the whole experience much easier. We never felt stuck to a large group or pressured to move on when we wanted a little more time somewhere. The trip also had a good balance between planned visits and free time. I’d strongly suggest this itinerary if you want to experience Morocco beyond the usual highlights. Ten days gave us enough time to actually enjoy the journey rather than just pass through each destination.Show more

I'd recommend this itinerary to anyone who wants a balanced introduction to Morocco. You get history, mountains and desert without having to choose just one type of experience, and ten days gives you enough time to enjoy each part properly. There was always something different waiting for us on this trip. Just when we thought we had settled into one type of landscape or atmosphere, Morocco seemed to change again. The imperial cities gave us plenty to explore, especially the old medinas and traditional markets. I'm a big fan of architecture, so I could have spent much longer wandering around some of the historic areas and looking at all the details. Then came the mountains and the Sahara, which were a completely different experience. I loved the contrast between the cooler mountain air and the enormous open spaces of the desert. The evening in the dunes was especially memorable—we had dinner at the camp and spent some time outside afterwards enjoying the quiet. One thing that worked particularly well for us was having the tour privately arranged. We weren't tied to a large group's schedule, so if we wanted to spend another half hour somewhere interesting, we could. That freedom made the ten days feel much more relaxed. The food deserves a mention too. I went into the trip expecting to enjoy Moroccan cuisine, but I wasn't prepared for how much I would look forward to every meal. The tagines, fresh bread and mint tea became part of the experience.Show more

I'd happily recommend this tour to anyone who wants a good mix of culture, scenery, food and desert adventure. And definitely arrive hungry! I'll be honest: one of the things I was most excited about before coming to Morocco was the food. After ten days, I can confirm that I was not disappointed! Of course, the cities, mountains and desert were incredible, but some of my favorite memories happened around a table. We tried tagines in different regions, fresh bread from small local bakeries, Moroccan salads, couscous, pastries and far too much mint tea. Every place seemed to have its own little variation. The imperial cities were fascinating to explore between meals. We loved wandering through the medinas, watching craftsmen at work and stopping at local markets. Fes was especially interesting because there was always another small street, shop or food stall to discover. Then came the Sahara, which was a completely different experience. After a long day on the road, arriving among the dunes and watching the sunset was beautiful. Dinner at the desert camp was another memorable meal, and eating outside while listening to traditional music made the evening feel very special. I also enjoyed the mountain landscapes more than I expected. The scenery changed constantly, and we stopped several times simply because the view was too good to pass up. Having a private tour made the whole experience much more enjoyable. We could ask to stop at local places, spend more time somewhere we liked, and our driver was always happy to suggest restaurants and dishes worth trying. He seemed to know exactly where to take us when we wanted something more local. By the end of the ten days, we had seen an incredible amount of Morocco, but we also felt that we had experienced it rather than simply passed through it.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 15 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
