  Our tour manager Uban was moving far too fast ahead of us, most of us were elderly, found it very difficult to locate him in a few instances where the crowd was enormous: one case was when we were touring Windsor Castle, I and my friend got very lost, we were not able to locate our starting point and where our coach parked, luckily a local British who were nice couple helped us find it! The other incident was after we had high tea at the Roast in London, most of the people in our were scattered and our leader Uban disappeared too fast as we're leaving the place, I and my friend lost the group and the direction so we had to walk back to the restaurant and asked the manager there to call him for us.Show more

  This might be my fault for not paying enough attention, but I did not realize that we'd be spending so much time outside in the cold. Tour guide, Urban, was great. The only thing I would wish differently was that he not wait for chronic latecomers. Waiting on the warm bus, not so bad. Waiting outside in the cold, not so good. All in all, food and accommodations really good. But I would not spend another 10 days of my life being cold all the time.Show more

  Loved all the attractions! My one complaint was I didn't have enough time to shop! We were too busy going to the events. The breakfasts at the hotels were amazing. Some of the meals, including the Eiffel Tower dinner was not very appetizing. Missed seeing the Arc de Triomphe and Joan of arc. Our tours never took us there. We loved the cabaret show although it was a bit long. I would suggest a guided tour to the Louvre and Notre Dame as we tried to do that on our own. Overall it was an awesome experience!Show more

  We went to The Automoble Club of America to book a trip for our 25th Wedding Annaversary. My wife asked for a Disney tour. The AAA Agent said "there are too many kids on those tours". She said she had a better AAA Tour for London and Paris. We took her advice and Booked the AAA Tour. The london and Paris tour cost $ 8000. We were never told that this tour was farmed out to Collette Tours! We arrived in london on October 7th. two days before the tour began. On the day of the tour, we received a package under our door. it included the Itinerary. No where did the booklet say Collette tours, even the book that was used to purchase the tour, Collette tours was not mentioned. About the tour: Most of the people on the tour were elderly, many had canes with them. The bus used was a greyhound type of bus. It was suppossed to be a Panoramic tour. there was no way to get good photos from the bus. I expeced a tour bus and I was highly dissappointed. Also, the bus had a small isle between the seats. At every stop, It took more than 20 minutes to exit and enter the bus. When we got to Paris, we went to a cabaret for dinner and a show. the tables were close to each other. My wife accidently knocked over a small glass of wine, some of it spilled into my lap. After a few minutes, an elderly man turned to me and started to curse and yell at me, saying I spilled wine on him. The man said he would take me outside and kick my ass. When my wife started to explain, The man's wife cupped her hand and put it on my wife's mouth. The man kept yelling at me. In order to keep the peace, my wife and I left the table and went to the tour director. The tour director, Becky, put us at a table away from the group. She said she would talk to them. She never did, My wife was so upset,I felt it best not to continue with the tour, I wanted to avoid a confrontation. If we wet back on the bus, and that man or his wife would verbally assault us, It would have ended badly. While our vacation was ruined, That other couple and their friends continued their tour like noting happened. My wife was so upset, she stayed in the hotel room for the rest of the tour. After the incident, my wife called the Emergency number. It was an answering machine, she left a message. Needless to say, our needs were not addressed. I don't like the "Bait and Switch" that was used. We thought we were on a AAA tour, not Collette Tour! NEVER AGAIN !Show more
