I noticed that almost all of the dates are all of a sudden sold out for this tour! Is this correct? I was interested in the tour starting July 19 and last time I checked it was 25 percent off but now it's not available anymore, and neither are any other tours for months ahead (they all show sold out).

Could this tour be done self-guided? What if we could change Thailand for Bali? With its changes, how much would it all come down to?

Intrepid does not offer tours on a self-guided basis, we are small group tour company. For our regular small group tours, you will be with a small group of travellers from all over the world and have a local expert trip leader to guide you throughout the trip. Intrepid offers private/custom tours, however our minimum traveller numbers for a private/custom trip would be 4+ people.

Would my age (44) be suitable for the tour? What is the average age on this trip, would we fit in as a mother-daughter pair?

This trip is designed for travellers aged 18 to 35. Unfortunately, anyone outside this age range would not be eligible to join this departure.

  We are not interested in a group tour. We value our independence and preferred the self-guided format. If Intrepid does not offer self-guided or independent travel packages (where only hotels and main transfers are handled) for the Bali-Singapore-Malaysia route, then this specific tour won't be a fit for us. Could you please confirm if you have any 'Independent' or 'Self-Guided' packages for these destinations?

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
