There are some tours where the igloo accommodation is included, such as Aurora & Glass Igloo Explorer - 5 Days, but we don't have option to upgrade to this type of accommodation.

Asked on November 3rd, 2025can I confirm regarding this Tour, the activities such as snowmobile, husky safari and aurora northern lights hunting, are included in the tour? Abit confuse since it says its included in our itinerary but its 'additional service'. Also, can i know what is the name of the hotel that we are staying at? Any recommendation on how to get to the hotel besides hotel transfer? Any public transport we can take?

The hotel we usually use for this trip is Sokos Vaakuna Hotel. Included in this itinerary at no extra cost is: Snowmobile Safari (2 hours), Husky safari (10 minutes), Aurora Northern Lights Evening (3 hours), Visit to Santa Claus Village. You can chose to do the following at an extra cost: Reindeer Safari - USD 245 per person, Aurora Borealis Ice Fishing - USD 175 per person, Ice Fishing - USD 155 per person, Showshoe Experience - USD 135 per person, Day Trip to Ranua Wildlife Park - USD 265 per person.

We typically confirm arrangements at the following hotel: Sokos Vaakuna Hotel - Rovaniemi: Located in the centre of Rovaniemi a stone's throw away from the Kemijoki River, the contemporary Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is a modern hotel with good amenities. French cuisine and Mexican-inspired dishes are served in Hotel Vaakuna Rovaniemi's restaurants, Fransmanni and Amarillo. Both offer outdoor seating. Santa Claus Village is within a 10-minute drive of the hotel. Guest rooms feature hardwood floors, comfortable beds and en suite facilities with the added bonus of northern lights light fixtures. If this hotel is unavailable we try and find the closest suitable alternative.
