There were quite a lot of transfers compared to how much we actually got to see. We would suggest that Intrepid skip the Raft House—this would reduce travel time and allow you to go straight to Phuket and spend two days there instead. In Phuket, we only got to experience a small part of the nightlife. In general, the transfers were very long, and considering the trip only lasts eight to nine days, we spent a significant amount of time traveling. However, we did take plenty of breaks along the way. I would recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to stay longer in Thailand plan a longer trip in order to see much more. The Raft House is probably not suitable for people who are a bit picky or used to a certain level of comfort. We are really talking about very basic wooden huts—with just a mattress inside, and that’s it. There were no clean showers or toilets. You also couldn’t bring a large backpack, so you need to remember to pack a smaller bag with the essentials for this part of the trip. Overall, you don’t see or do enough at the Raft House location for the stay to really be worth it. However, the stay in Koh Samui was definitely worth it, and three days there felt like the perfect amount of time. The additional activities are also highly recommended. The guides were also very helpful when it came to gluten-free food.Show more

Except for the hotel in Bangkok, good balance of sites to visit, activities, transportation, good hotels. Bike is an excellent way of visiting Sukhotai, and excellent cooking class there. Very good guide. English needs improvement but she is working hard. The hotel in Bangkok is far from everything no restaurant close by except a couple of Western ones, no public transportation, no time really to enjoy the facilities and no alternative but dinner in the restaurant which is always expensive. So this needs to be changed.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
