Our guide was absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about the islands. He made every wildlife encounter even more special by sharing fascinating insights and making sure everyone had an unforgettable experience.
The itinerary was fantastic and allowed us to see so much of the Galápagos. I also loved that we ate at wonderful local restaurants, where we enjoyed delicious seafood, including incredibly fresh fish that had been caught that very day.
Everything was so well organized that I could simply relax and enjoy every moment. I came home with incredible memories and a deep appreciation for these beautiful islands. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone considering the Galápagos—it truly was the trip of a lifetime!

The trip excursions exceeded our expectations with the right amount of walking.
The road trips were interspersed with aside trips to break up the journey.
Be aware that the journey can be quite humbling in some respects
The standard of accommodation needs serious work by both the operator and owners.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, offering a wonderful mix of culture, history, nature, and adventure. Every destination had something unique to offer, and I came away with a much deeper appreciation for the region and its people.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and local traditions of each place we visited. The accommodations were comfortable, transportation was well organized, and everything ran smoothly throughout the journey.
One thing I especially appreciated was the tour company’s commitment to supporting local communities. Visiting Smile Café in Nicaragua was a meaningful highlight, and I admire that the company includes and supports nonprofit initiatives like this, allowing travelers to contribute to positive social impact while experiencing the country in a more authentic way.
Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations and created unforgettable memories. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the beauty, diversity, and rich culture of Central America.

The trip was full on and travelling could be tiring but understandable as we were seeing 5 countries in such a short space of time. The majority of accommodations were pretty good. My main disappointment was not having more time in Guatemala at the beginning of the trip. I arrived a day early but it was late. The next day the group didn't meet until 6pm and then we were away to Honduras really early the next morning.
I would highly recommend this trip.

Our tour guide was the best tour guide I've ever come across and even helped arrange some extra side tours for the group so we didn't have to join a large group. The only constructive criticism is some of the hotels were a bit outdated with sub par air conditioning, but that could be just the european standard versus the american style hotels we are used to. However, the location of the hotels were perfectly ideal with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and scheduled tours. Also, I didn't see any other "better" options in soem of the areas we stopped. I would recommend this tour highly just for the ease of transportation and guidance, balanced with the freedom to choose our own dining locations to eat dinner.

Great tour with so many unique places to stay, incredible active tours and community involvement and our guide, Simon was AMAZING!!
It was such a packed tour doing 3 to 5 things each day. Srix our guide brought the group together and really made the trip great.

Yes it was stated that there would be steps however in my experience staff will help with luggage. The only good hotel was the Ozkaya in Sivas where the manager turned on the heating as we arrived soaked from the rain and the ladies in tge kitchen provided omelettes abd yoghurt for breakfast on request, the worst hotel was the Euphrat hotel in Adiyaman, the buffet dinner was very limited in options as was the breakfast and neither were good, but its the only hotel in the area so they have a monopoly, they weren't very friendly either. It poured rain, which formed puddles up the ankles because the water was not draining, my new adidas traibers were ruined, the room waa cold abd some light fixtures didn't work. In all the other hotels except the hotel in Sivas there were issues with hot water, light fixtures, in Aga Konagi in Mardin, the water bottle in my room had a broken seal which tells me it was filled from a tap and not bottled water, I didnt drink it but I could have gotten sick if I hadn't noticed the seal was broken. Safe deposit boxes were practically non existent. The Wimeingaet hitel in Istanbul weren' t able to organise a take away breakfast for us and gave us all sandwiches wrapped on a tray, no bag, no fruit and no juice. In Aga Konagi in Mardin the toulet was in my room with shower doors around it, the hand basin was seperate in the room and the shower was also in the room behind shower doors, I know that these renovated mansions have limitations on how they can change and build because of planning and heritage but a toilet in the room is ridiculous, there was no other room available. I will also be emailing Intrepid about this issue with the hotels

It was definitely full on and the travelling was quite tiring but we visited 5 countries in 16 days so it had to be a busy schedule. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the fact that we didn't get to spend time in Guatemala at all. I arrived a night early and met the group the next day but then left very early the next morning for Honduras. I would have loved to have had more time in Guatemala. Totally recommend.
