  Hi, I’ve written a review already with suggestions for the things we thought could be improved. I’d like to add though that Agustin, our guide, was happy and a pleasure to deal with. He consistently worked through any issues we had. He was very organised and considerate. We would travel with Agustin again any time! He was lots of fun.Show more

  As value for money, some of the accommodation was below the standard we expected. This was true for us in Rome and Minori. We asked to change our room in Sorrento. The room in Pompei was good. Breakfast in Pompei had a lot of sweet pastries and more savoury options and muesli could be offered. The guide needed to provide suggestions for options in free time. Intrepid could support the guide better be providing available options eg list for WhatApps. Although flexibility is needed, I would have preferred a basic plan of the day eg we were told there would be 3 hours free time only after we arrived at our destination.Show more

  Th tour leader and itinerary were excellent well planned. The sampling of activities was varied. Particularly enjoyed the archaeological sites, nature hikes best way to explore the cities and landscape. Location of hotel relative to activities and access to bus and train were fantastic. We ended up with a fantastic group of people making it less of a tour and more of a vaction with friends which was unexpected. I was expecting more of a tour guide like we did at Pompeii to let us more about the history and architecture than expected in Naples and Pompeii but also th coastal cities. Euros/Cash was needed for many common activities which would have been good to know ahead of time I was expecting to use the card. Accommodations were clean and basic but not great so also the breakfast. Sorrento and Amalfi had better hotels. All hotel locations were very good though.   Veronica Coniglio, ❤️ Our tour guide and leader in my opinion went above and beyond to make all the members in our group feel safe, cared for and included in all our activities, she will be dearly missed as we part ways but will always remain in my heart! 🙏 Veronica, if you’re seeing this, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! The tour itself was more than I had expected to see and do, and learn!! There was no detail overlooked by intrepid and I thank the organization for their efforts in putting together such a smooth and stress free guided experience from Rome to Amalfi.   This was a group tour, which I booked to enjoy with other people. This was not the case, for the most part of this tour I spent a lot of time alone. The worst day was a trip to the Isle of Capri which I was charged an additional 90 Euros for on top of what I paid for the day already, where I spent the entire time waiting on everyone else. As a person with a visual impairment, I was not confident to venture alone and the tour leader and others from the group just left. Upon our return, two young ladies who weren't part of the tour were asked to join the next activity which was absolutely not acceptable. I want to be refunded my 90 Euros + the cost of that day for being embarrassed, left to fend for myself and made to feel like more of an inconvenience than a valued customer. When you look at my profile you will note my impairment was indicated from the day I booked this tour, I mentioned not only to the guide but my whole group from day 1 and this is just not acceptable. I also sent a note to Intrepid and have not heard a word. I plan to take more trips in the near future, I would suggest that someone contact me if they want my business again.Show more
