We had an amazing experience on The Five Stans of the Silk Road tour. It was a long and sometimes challenging journey, but it gave us the opportunity to experience five very different countries, cultures, landscapes, and histories in one trip. The itinerary was very well organised, especially considering the complicated border crossings and the long distances between destinations. We visited beautiful mountains, lakes, deserts, historic Silk Road cities, local markets, and traditional villages. Staying in a yurt and camping near the Darvaza gas crater were particularly memorable experiences. Our tour leader was young but very responsible, caring, and hardworking. She always tried her best to help everyone in the group and handled unexpected situations calmly and professionally. The local guides were also knowledgeable and helped us understand the history and culture of each country. Some travel days were quite long, and the accommodation and facilities in remote areas were sometimes basic, so travellers should be prepared to be flexible. However, these experiences were also part of what made the trip so unique and adventurous. Overall, this was an unforgettable journey and one of the most interesting tours we have ever taken. We would highly recommend it to anyone who is curious about Central Asia and enjoys cultural experiences, history, nature, and adventure.Show more

This was one of the most memorable tour I ever had. Wading thru diverse landscapes mountains, lakes and deserts from 4 countries with diverse cultures and food. Every day was a new day. Though 23 days but never felt bored or when will it end. Lots of free days were good breaks to set the pace and relax in between. The tour leaders were knowledgeable and caring. Small group size makes it like moving with small newly formed family. Strongly recommend this tour.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
