Our favorite memorable experience was made even richer and more enjoyable because of our excellent tour guide, Antonjia, who was a great story teller, immersing us and teaching us, not only about Iceland as an island geographically, but as a people with a rich heritage and culture. She made us fall in love with the people, their culture and their land. That is why our most memorable event was even more impactful when we joined the locals of Vik on New Year's Eve for a bonfire and fireworks by the black beach. The raison on the end of the hot dog' was an amazing northern lights show later that evening.Show more

Everything was organized and when things didn't go as planned she made sure that there was a backup plan. We loved everything about Iceland but the northern lights on New Year's Eve were the most magical thing I had ever seen. We cannot wait to come back in the summer to see the difference in this beautiful country.Show more
