Prague

Then it's back to the Czech Republic to walk through Loket, a medieval town sitting dramatically above the Ohre River with a 12th-century castle. The day ends in Karlovy Vary, a spa city known for thermal springs and striking Neo-Baroque structures.

Later you'll tour Auschwitz and Birkenau memorials. After that, you'll see the Nikiszowiec neighborhood with its distinctive miners' architecture. The day ends in Katowice, Silesia's capital.

Next is the Village Museum, an open-air museum showing late 19th-century Polish rural life with wooden buildings, mills, a church, and farms (tickets included). Then you'll travel to Wroclaw, a 10th-century city showing Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German influences with one of Poland's most beautiful town squares. Explore the old town and grab lunch before heading back to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague by evening.
