Prague

Prague - Dresden - Loket - Karlovy Vary
After breakfast, you'll head toward Germany to see Dresden, which earned the nickname 'Florence of the Elbe' for its Baroque buildings and architecture. Then it's back to the Czech Republic to walk through Loket, a medieval town sitting dramatically above the Ohre River with a 12th-century castle. The day ends in Karlovy Vary, a spa city known for thermal springs and striking Neo-Baroque structures.

Karlovy Vary - Pilsen - Tabor - Hluboka Castle - Ceske Budejovice
Following breakfast, you'll visit Pilsen, where Pilsner beer originated, seeing the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew and old breweries. Next comes the medieval town of Tabor for lunch and time to look around. The afternoon takes you to Hluboka Castle, one of the country's best castles, which you'll reach by tourist train. The day finishes in Ceske Budejovice, Southern Bohemia's capital, with its well-kept historic center.

Next you'll go to Valtice to see its impressive Baroque palace and taste wines from this known winemaking area. The small town of Mikulov comes next, where you can see the castle and have free time for lunch. By mid-afternoon, you'll return to Brno.

Krakow

Leaving Krakow after breakfast, you'll reach Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a UNESCO pilgrimage site with a monastery and chapel complex. A quick stop at the wooden church in Barwald Dolny follows, then Wadowice, birthplace of Pope John Paul II, where you can visit his museum house or the baptism basilica before lunch. Later you'll tour Auschwitz and Birkenau memorials. After that, you'll see the Nikiszowiec neighborhood with its distinctive miners' architecture. The day ends in Katowice, Silesia's capital.

Katowice - Opole - Wroclaw - Prague
You'll stop in Opole, a small town with a preserved old town, for a coffee break. Next is the Village Museum, an open-air museum showing late 19th-century Polish rural life with wooden buildings, mills, a church, and farms (tickets included). Then you'll travel to Wroclaw, a 10th-century city showing Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German influences with one of Poland's most beautiful town squares. Explore the old town and grab lunch before heading back to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague by evening.
