Itinerary
- Day 1
Fes
You'll arrive in Fes and begin exploring the city's historic center with a local guide. The ancient medina is the main focus, along with Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the oldest continuously operating universities in the world. From there, you'll see the Bou Inania Madrasa with its detailed zellige tilework and carved cedar. By evening, you'll settle into your accommodation for the night.

- Day 2
Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
Leaving Fes in the morning, you'll drive through Ifrane, a mountain town that feels different from the rest of Morocco with its European-style architecture. The cedar forests around Azrou come next, where you can walk among the trees and possibly spot wild monkeys. After lunch, you'll pass through the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga by late afternoon. Once there, a camel ride takes you out to Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sun set over the sand.

- Day 3
Merzouga
This day stays in and around Merzouga so you can really experience the desert. You'll visit small villages nearby and spend time with nomadic Berber families, learning about their daily life and traditions. The red sand of Erg Chebbi surrounds you throughout, and there's plenty of time to walk the dunes and take in the quiet landscape without rushing between locations.

Landmarks Erg Chebbi Dunes - Day 4
Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
Heading west from Merzouga toward Erfoud, you'll pass traditional ksars and stop at fossil workshops where locals work with ancient remains. The Ziz Valley offers scenic views along the way with a lunch break included. Later, you'll reach the Todra Gorges where massive limestone walls rise on both sides of a narrow riverbed, and a short walk lets you get close to the cliffs. By afternoon, mountain roads take you toward Dades Gorges through red-rock formations and Berber settlements, ending with sunset views.

- Day 5
Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Starting early from Dades Gorges, you'll travel through the Valley of Roses and the palm groves around Skoura. A stop at Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate lets you photograph this impressive mudbrick structure. Next comes Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site where you'll have lunch with views overlooking the ancient clay village built on a hillside. The route continues over the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka Pass with photo stops along the way, bringing you to Marrakech by evening.

Marrakech to Essaouira
You'll drive west from Marrakech to reach Essaouira on the coast. Once there, time goes to the medina with its narrow streets and local character. The souks offer everything from spices to crafts, and walking the ramparts gives you views of both the old city and the Atlantic Ocean. Fresh sea air and local seafood restaurants make this a nice change from the inland desert.

Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat
Leaving Essaouira, you'll travel north along the Atlantic coast through argan forests and small seaside towns. Casablanca comes next where you'll see the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in Africa, then stroll the Corniche and grab lunch in the city center. From there, it's on to Rabat where you'll explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum before walking along the Bouregreg River.

Rabat to Chefchaouen
From Rabat, you'll head south and inland toward Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. Walking through the medina, nearly every building and street has blue-painted walls in different shades. Local markets fill with residents and visitors, and the mountain setting keeps temperatures cooler than lower elevations. The overall atmosphere here is much quieter and more laid-back than other Moroccan cities.

- Day 10
Chefchaouen to Tangier
Today you'll depart Chefchaouen and drive north toward Tangier through the scenic Rif Mountains. The route winds through mountain terrain with views of valleys and small communities along the way. You'll arrive at Tangier Airport in time for your departure flight, ending your tour of Morocco.
