Siem Reap
You'll arrive in Siem Reap and check into your hotel with its French colonial style and local touches. The day is yours to wander around at your own pace and get settled. This evening, you'll meet your tour director and the other travelers at a welcome briefing and dinner to kick things off.

Siem Reap
After a champagne buffet breakfast, you get to choose from several freechoice activities in the morning. There's Banteay Srei Temple and the Landmine Museum, a soap workshop, village walks, a boat trip to a floating village on Tonle Sap, the Angkor Wildlife Aquarium, or even a tethered balloon ride over Angkor. In the afternoon, you'll visit Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument. By evening, you'll have VIP seats at Phare Circus watching theatre, music, and dance performances telling Cambodian stories.

Siem Reap
Wake early for an exclusive sunrise experience over Angkor Wat with champagne breakfast at a temple prepared by an NGO bakery school. Then you'll explore Ta Prohm Temple with its jungle covering and Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom with its many faces. The rest of the afternoon is free to check out Siem Reap markets or relax at your hotel. Tonight brings a private gala dinner at Prasat Kravan, a 10th-century temple with five brick towers, complete with drinks and Apsara dancers performing by candlelight.

Siem Reap to Kampong Cham
Today you'll travel by coach through rural Cambodia to Kampong Cham, stopping at the Khmer bridge at Kampong Kdei, passing through Kampong Thom, and visiting a stone cutters village. You'll then board the Scenic Spirit cruise ship and join a cocktail reception with your cruise director. Explore the ship and settle into your suite where a dedicated butler is available.

Landmarks Kampong Kdei Bridge - Day 5
Kampong Cham - Wat Hanchey
You'll wake as the ship arrives at Wat Hanchey, an old hilltop pagoda and monastery. Meet novice monks there and walk or drive to the top for views of the Mekong River. In the afternoon, the ship sails upstream before heading back to Kampong Cham, the largest city in northern Cambodia. You'll spend the rest of the day exploring the colorful riverfront with its Chinese shopfronts, restaurants, colonial buildings, and night market.

Kampong Cham to Angkor Ban
Pick from three freechoice morning activities to learn about local culture and history. Visit Phnom Pros pagoda and Wat Nokor Bachey temple blending Angkorian and modern styles, explore Kampong Cham's colonial history and markets with a rubber plantation and betel nut village, or head to remote Kho Penh Village on Bamboo Island using a local remork after crossing a bamboo bridge. By afternoon you're back on the Scenic Spirit sailing to Angkor Ban.

Angkor Ban to Silk Island to Phnom Penh
You'll explore Angkor Ban's wooden houses and local pagoda. An exclusive experience includes receiving a monk's blessing, learning Buddhist prayers, and joining an alms ceremony for the monks. Later, sail to Oknha Tey (Silk Island) and take a tuk tuk to see silk weaving production and optionally learn about the Cambodian scarf. Use the wellness center and beauty salon, then gather on the sundeck for sunset drinks overlooking Phnom Penh's lights. Tonight includes a city tour and rum distillery visit with a private tasting.

Back on the Scenic Spirit for lunch, you'll have a free afternoon. Before dinner, watch a cultural performance on the sun deck by the Cambodian Student and Children's Organisation.

Phnom Penh to Tan Chau
This morning you'll visit the Royal Palace with its famous Silver Pagoda, the official riverside residence built in the 1860s. You'll return to the Scenic Spirit and sail toward the Cambodian-Vietnamese border. The afternoon is relaxing, with options to read in the library, unwind with wine, learn about upcoming ports, cool off by the pool, or retire to your private suite. After crossing into Vietnam, you'll have a themed dinner on board followed by a lion dance on the sundeck.

In Tan Chau, choose from three freechoice activities: glide by sampan through waterways with mangroves at Tra Su Bird Sanctuary with over 100 waterbird species, experience farm life on Evergreen Island with local farmers, visit Cao Dai temple by rickshaw learning about this 1926 religion blending multiple faiths, or speedboat to Chau Doc and Tay An temple. End the day with a cocktail by the pool watching the sunset as you sail to Sa Dec.

You'll return to the Scenic Spirit for lunch and have a relaxing afternoon on board sailing downstream to Cai Be.

Cai Be
Start with a full gourmet breakfast with champagne, then pick your morning activity. You'll sail to My Tho in the afternoon with time to relax and watch the sunset. Tonight is your farewell dinner with the crew.

Say goodbye to the Scenic Spirit and its staff. You'll drive about 90 minutes to Ho Chi Minh City for drop-off at the Caravelle Saigon or the airport. You'll depart Vietnam with full cameras and memories of your trip.
