- Tanja· October 2nd, 2025I had the absolute best time trekking with Chris and the Climbing Mountains team. Attempting the trek to Base Camp Everest was something that I always thought was incredible. The Climbing Mountains team made the trek so seamless with their extensive wealth of knowledge. Their multiple onboarding calls were fantastic in giving us the information we needed prior to departing for the adventure. From information about what to bring and what to buy in Nepal saved us all so much money but it was also a great way to give business to the community we were visiting. The teams attention to detail made us all feel very safe during the long trek. From education regarding medications, ergonomics when ascending/descending stairs, and continuous monitoring of our oxygen levels, our safety was very clearly a priorty for the team. The Climbing Mountains guides were not only safety oriented but also so approachable and full of good humour, making the trek even more enjoyable and memorable. I will be HIGHLY recommending Climbing Mountains to anyone looking into doing any adventures and look forward to rebooking with them in the future!Show more

We were fortunate to see Mt Everest several times throughout the trip and a highlight was hiking through snow to see the Tenzing Norgay museum, statue and view Mt Everest for the first time! Every day was different, the culture and journey amazing. I highly recommend completing this journey with Climbing Mountains, the guides were brilliant and doing it as part of a group made it fun and we encouraged each other well and all made it to Base Camp!Show more
