Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Ouarzazate
You'll get picked up from the airport or your riad and head south across the High Atlas mountains toward Ouarzazate. On the way, you'll stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and there's an option to check out the film studios where they've shot major movies if you're interested. After settling in, you'll have dinner and spend the night there.

Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Zagora
Early departure at 7:30 AM takes you toward the Kasbah of the Storks where you can see panoramic views over the lake. You'll cross the Tizi-n-Tinififft pass and visit the Kasbah of Alkaid Ali in Tamnougale for lunch. From there, the afternoon involves traveling through 4x4 routes across the Draa Valley with its palm groves and traditional ksours, and you'll reach Zagora by evening.

Zagora - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll tackle a 280 km desert track stage similar to the Paris-Dakar Rally, crossing sand rivers, dry lakes, and open plains. Along the route, you'll see nomadic life as you travel near the Algeria border. There's a lunch stop at a refuge near Tafrawt, then you'll continue toward the fine sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.

- Day 4
Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
Following breakfast, you'll travel another Paris-Dakar Rally track to visit desert nomads for tea and explore the oasis where films like 'Sahara' were shot. You'll see the village of 'the blacks', then switch from 4x4 to camel riding as you head toward the dunes for sunset. The night is spent in a Bedouin tent in the desert, roughly two hours from where you started.

Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
Wake up early to watch sunrise from a large dune. After eating, you'll ride back by dromedary to your hotel for a shower. Then it's a drive toward Rissani and Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble factory, passing through palm groves on the way to the Todra Gorges with its towering vertical walls. You'll have lunch there and take a half-hour walk before heading toward the Dades Valley through Boumalne.

Landmarks Todra Gorges Dades Gorges - Day 6
Dades Gorges - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate
You'll travel on track through the High Atlas to observe Berber mountain life and see traditional caves. There's time to share tea with local Berbers and learn about their customs. Later, you'll head into the Valley of Roses where locals produce natural creams, soaps, and rose water from rose crops. Lunch is at your own pace in a typical local restaurant in Boutghrar before heading back to Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll visit the Kasbah of Taourirt before heading back north across the High Atlas, where the natural landscapes are really something. You'll return to Marrakech for a transfer to the airport or your hotel, which wraps up the desert adventure.
