Itinerary
- Day 1
Santiago de Compostela
You'll arrive in Santiago de Compostela and get settled at your hotel. The rest of your time is free to do what interests you most. Wander through the old town's narrow streets, stop by the Cathedral of Santiago, or find a spot in one of the busy squares to watch pilgrims coming through town. It's a good day to get your bearings and start feeling the rhythm of the place.

Santiago de Compostela - Rias Bajas - Vigo
Meet your group at 7:30 AM for an early departure into the Spanish Fjords region. You'll make a stop at La Toja Island to check out its natural springs and coastal setting. In O Grove, there's an option to take a catamaran tour to see how oyster and mussel farms operate, including a taste of fresh mussels paired with Ribeiro wine. From there, you head to Vigo where you can either explore on your own or join an optional trip to Santa Tecla.

Landmarks La Toja Island O Grove - Day 3
Vigo - Viana do Castelo - Braga - Porto
This morning you'll cross into Portugal and arrive in Viana do Castelo, a small coastal city with character. Spend time walking the cobbled streets and looking at the historic buildings around town. Later you'll move on to Braga, Portugal's third-largest city known for its religious significance and architecture. After some free time there, you'll travel to Porto where you'll stay overnight.

Porto
After breakfast, you'll explore Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A guided tour takes you through the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Church of St Clara to see how different periods shaped the city. By late afternoon you'll visit a local wine cellar to taste Port wine and learn why it's so connected to this place.

Porto - Coimbra
Leave Porto and travel to Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and where Fado music was born. After lunch, you'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to walk around this historic city at your own pace and see what catches your interest.

- Day 6
Coimbra - Fatima - Lisbon
You'll leave Coimbra and travel to Fátima, a major pilgrimage destination. There's free time to visit the Sanctuary and spend time in the quiet atmosphere. Later you'll head to Lisbon, Portugal's capital, and check into your accommodation. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Fado show in the evening where you can hear the soulful national music of Portugal.

- Day 7
Lisbon
Start the day with a guided tour showing you Lisbon's layout. You'll begin at Edward VII Park for views across the city, then pass through Rossio Square and along Liberdade Avenue. Next you'll visit the Madragoa District where Fado music originated, then head to Belém to see Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery. The afternoon is yours to rest or join an optional tour to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.

Lisbon - Merida - Seville
You'll head toward the Spanish border and reach Mérida, known for its Roman sites. A UNESCO-listed Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre are here to explore at your own pace. After lunch on your own, you'll travel along the Silver Route toward Andalusia, arriving in Seville by evening.

- Day 9
Seville - Madrid
After breakfast, a guide will show you around Seville. You'll see María Luisa Park and Plaza de España, view the Cathedral and La Giralda bell tower, and walk through Santa Cruz with its winding streets and local energy. Optional activities include a Guadalquivir River cruise or a visit to the historic Maestranza bullring. In the late afternoon, you'll head to the train station to catch the AVE train to Madrid.
