Instead of a nice leisurely tour of Morocco, we received a high anxiety rush to cover lots of miles and see very few...
Instead of a nice leisurely tour of Morocco, we received a high anxiety rush to cover lots of miles and see very few sites. Initially, our tour did not pick us up at our Malaga hotel as our documents said it would, so after numerous phone calls and a mad scramble, we got a 2hr and 15 minute taxi ride that we paid for, to the ferry terminal. Taxi fare is promised to be reimbursed to us...about $300. We boarded the ferry without guidance, transferred to Tangier, found another personal driver, who took us to a seperate hotel than our group was in. Admittedly it was nicer, and provided a nicer meal, but we were stuck on our own, in the Kasbar Next day , our driver took us to meet up with the tour, and we traveled south to Fez with the group for 2 days, although staying in seperate hotels, and eating apart from the group. Our final time was spent driving us back north to Tangier ferry, by private car and driver, leaving us to figure out the ferry schedule and routine, and deliver us back to Gibraltar, where another driver and car took us back to Malaga. It was high anxiety and tension and not what a couple of 80 year olds needed as a tour.Show more
