  I’m not even sure where to start, I booked with tour radar because I had such a wonderful tour in Japan through them. The Italian one was awful though. The hotels were remote and if you didn’t book an excursion you had to make it back on your own. That combined with a guide that completely ignored us until it was time to tip. She pressured everyone, naming who had tipped and talked about it for 3 days. It was tacky and she didn’t once try to help us throughout the tour. The people on the tour developed a buddy system to make sure we all made it on the bus because we knew she would leave us.Show more

  I have traveled all over Europe and have used different tours before. I booked this tour months in advance for my family, a party of 6. I was slightly dissatisfied because my expectations of this tour was not as good as when compared to my last bus tour with Cosmos to Ireland, Wales and England. I feel Cosmos had better tour guides and better accommodations. I never read or saw in my itinerary nor signed up for Carrini Tours but that is who we were placed with. I still do not know how that happened. I booked through TOURRADAR and it said Click tours. Right from the beginning of our tour, before we departed, our tour guide Nancy informed us that there were two buses and the other bus was English only which is was what we requested. We asked to be switched to the other bus and she said no. Unfortunately we were not on the English only bus and therefore had to sit through our tour guide Nancy explaining everything three times, once in English then Spanish then Portuguese which we all felt was very annoying. This also slowed down every time we were walking we had to wait for her to speak I. 3 languages. This was constantly happening every day on the bus and on the headphones as well. All 6 of us agreed this had a negative effect on our trip. As for the accommodations, the Uno Vittorio Hotel in Florence was horrible. The 6 of us all hated our 3 different rooms, the showers were horrible and the dinner at the hotel was not good either. I felt like it was a very cheap hotel and cheap dinner. As a tour company, if you take reviews seriously you should not use that hotel in the future if you want more satisfied guests. On the other hand, Assisi was beautiful! We liked the hotel accommodation in Venice it was new, clean, roomy and comfortable. The transportation to and from Venice from the hotel was convenient. The lunch in Montepulciano was the best! We would have loved spending more time there. The tour of Venice with a different tour guide and light lunch in the Piazza San Marco was also very nice. Last I would like to say although Nancy was knowledgeable and did answer questions accordingly she did not appear to be happy doing her job. Tour guides should be pleasant and enthusiastic. I spent a lot of money on this tour for 6 people. I would not book another tour with your company again nor would I recommend it to another person. I am sure you will just read this and not even do anything to try to make this right for me and my family.Show more

  It was good, I just wish we would have more time in places like Montepulciano and Siena, and less time in Venice. The walking tour of Venice was short and very very general. I wish guide would’ve told me that in order to get into San Marco’s cathedral, you have to reserve time slots, not just pay. Overall pleasant experience. Carlos, our guide, was helpful and very polite.Show more

  While a slow start with bus arriving later, our guide Sabrina was truly amazing. Our group 62 people managed with great care including our great bus driver Stephano. The food organised was great and authentic, starting in Rome, Assisi, Siena, Bologna, Florence, Venice, Montepucino n back to Rome 5 days. Accommodation very high standard and well organised for large group. Some of walks can be challenging for people with some disability. Every city left a wonderful imprint of Italy in our heads n hearts. Great value trip. air conditioned bus very nice n comfortable.Show more

  I love that we got to stay in nice hotels for two nights in a row, instead of changing every night. The tour guide we had was extraordinary, and she was very helpful beyond the itinerary of the tour. Florence and Venice were fabulous, and our last afternoon in Tuscany was a perfect ending. The hotels were better than I expected, but most of the food was mediocre. Our last meal was the best one by far, but the lunches were not great.Show more

  Stefano, our main tour guide, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The places we visited were spectacular and full of historic importance to the each region and Italy as a whole. The guides that were assigned to our tour throughout the stops were very knowledgeable and personable as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to the rest of my family and friends.Show more
