- Day 1
Bastia
You'll arrive in Bastia, Upper Corsica's capital, and settle into your hotel in the afternoon. The evening gives you time to wander through the old citadel, check out Place St. Nicolas, and walk around the old harbor. Plenty of good restaurants are scattered throughout town if you want dinner nearby.

- Day 2
Bastia to St-Florent
Cycling starts with Col de Teghime (536 m), which has great views looking out over both sides of the island. Coming down toward St-Florent, you can stop in Patrimonio to taste local wines, since the area is known for its vineyards. If you're looking for something more difficult, there's an 85-km route heading north from Bastia that goes through Cap Corse and Col de Santa Lucia (381 m).

- Day 3
Saint-Florent to Île-Rousse
After leaving St-Florent's bay, you'll ride through the Désert des Agriates. Spring brings out the wild maquis with its distinctive scents and colors across the Corsican scrubland. Around 30 km in, the coastline comes back into view with a nice sight of the red island that marks the port of Île-Rousse.

Île-Rousse to Galeria
Heading south toward Calvi, you have two route choices: take the higher path through small mountain villages with sea views, or go the faster way along the coastal road. Once in Calvi, the citadel above the bay is worth a visit, and grabbing a drink down at the harbor is basically required. From there, 37 km of coastal road stretches ahead, known as one of Europe's most scenic (though road conditions can be variable), ending at a small fishing village for the night.

Galeria to Porto
This day offers impressive cycling with views the whole way. After a few kilometers of rolling terrain, the climb to Col de Palmarella (408 m) begins, giving you views down into the Scandola bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The next ascent heads to Col de la Croix before dropping down into a pleasant descent. You'll pass through Curzu and Partinello, then one more short climb brings you to the bay of Porto.

- Day 6
Porto to Cargese
Starting from Porto, you'll go up toward the Calanques de Piana, those dramatic red rock formations that are also protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After crossing through Piana village, you'll reach Cargese, an old settlement originally founded by Greek settlers back in the 18th century.

Cargese to Ajaccio
Your final cycling day before reaching Ajaccio. The route isn't particularly long, so you could take a detour to the Bay of Lava and its beaches if you want. Getting to Ajaccio early means you can either visit the Îles Sanguinaires at the northern edge of the bay or spend time walking through town to see the Tino Rossi harbor and Napoleon's birthplace.

Ajaccio
The tour finishes after breakfast. If you've rented bikes, they'll be picked up from your hotel. You can arrange a transfer to the airport or head back to Bastia by train if needed.
