  I presume that the best way to see the viaduct is to be at the Glenfinnan visitor centre? About the ED castle, should we be buying our tickets online ahead of time? Is there a long lineup to enter? We admit we have never taken this type of tour. We are an active, fit couple in our 60's and are looking for a tours that will offer more than just driving around. We are hoping for some walking/hiking. Any hikes planned?

  You would be best to buy your tickets for Edinburgh castle in advance online.
  
  There would be time for some walks on this tour and possibly a little hiking.
