Our tourguide was Steve P and he was really great. He knew a lot about the places we went past/ to, as wel as a lot of faerie and folklore stories! All the stories he told were so interesting and made Scotland for me even better!

All the stops were amazing! The skye inn in Portree is cozy and comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious. Steve told us amazing stories about the history of Scotland and had a great music p…All the stops were amazing! He has a wealth of knowledge of the area, history, folklore, and pop culture references spinned in with some humour and fun random facts. We appreciated that he made the necessary coffee and bathroom breaks, laid out a rough itineray for the next day (prepping for a hike for instance), and told us how to make the most of our time at certain stops.

Having seen the beautiful landscape and heard so many enchanting stories, I can hardly wait to go back again. As for Steve, I couldn't have wished for a better guide. His vast knowledge of Scottish culture and great sense of humour made this trip a truly memorable experience. Also, the playlist on the bus was outstanding! Thanks for everything, Steve :)

We absolutely loved our Skye High tour! Our guide Steve had lots of great anecdotes and stories about the places we visited. He made the trip so enjoyable! We only had a few days so we did this 3 day …We absolutely loved our Skye High tour! Our guide Steve had lots of great anecdotes and stories about the places we visited. He made the trip so enjoyable! We only had a few days so we did this 3 day tour but can’t wait to return and go on a longer journey. Will definitely make sure Steve is our guide again.

Tour was great but sometimes, such as touring of castle and gardens. there was not enough time to enjoy the castle and go on boat trip for the seals

Highland tours organized a great itinerary. Our guide, Steve was excellent. His attention to detail was outstanding. You can tell he truly loves his job and his country. He allowed plenty of time to see the sites at each stop. He never rushed us. Everyone had such a good time we all spent our last night together eating at the Skye Inn. He even organized a trivia game after dinner. This is one tour we were sad when it was over. I have nothing negative to say about Highland Tours. But... the communication between Tourradar and Highland tours was a bit disappointing. We informed Tourradar that we were part of a group of 5 and would like to stay together. They put us at a hotel on the Isle of Harris while the other three along with 5 other people on our bus stayed at a beautiful B&B. That was very disappointing. They also made reservations for the room in Inverness for two people but only reserved breakfast for one. Then to top it off we paid for the steam train on the way back but, there were no seats reserved for us. Steve was able to get everything except the accomodation fixed. Like I said earlier, Steve was wonderful!

His of sense of direction and driving ability were amazing. He was able to navigate us around seamlessly and had a sense of time needed at each stop. He told us all the stories and folklore and played an amazing track of Scottish music that he put together himself. If you want a breathtaking tour of Scotland, I highly recommend this tour.

The tour itself was spectacular. Our guide, Steve, was A++. His love of his country and his job was obvious. All the accommodations were very nice. The description of the tour as suitable for ages…The tour itself was spectacular. Our guide, Steve, was A++. His love of his country and his job was obvious. All the accommodations were very nice. The description of the tour as suitable for ages 5-99 is misleading, though. To thoroughly take advantage of all that is offered, be prepared to walk a LOT, to climb stairs a LOT, and to walk up steep slopes a LOT. For the price of the tour, I think more admission fees should be included as well as a dinner or two.

I had the best time on this tour and can only recommend to go on this trip!! Steve, our tour guide, was amazing and we were a group of 10 lovely people. Steve, our tour guide, was amazing and we were a group of 10 lovely people. We made our own playlist for the car drive and spent time together in the evening talking about our lives. Despite the bad weather at some places we got to see the Scottish beauty and beautiful landscapes. I strongly recommend to buy a ticket for the Jacobite Steam Train as that was incredibly beautiful! I already look forward to going back to Scotland someday!!
Amazing. Just purley amazing. Our driver was Stevie and he was great. Really knew his stuff and made the most of every second.

Go for it. Interesting, informative and fun. You will visit lots of great places in Scotland. I holiday in Scotland every year, usually by car. Going on this tour has given a greater sense of adventur…Go for it. Interesting, informative and fun. You will visit lots of great places in Scotland. Its such a good tour! An awesome way to get a taste of Scotland, and discover the beauty of its landscapes and history.
Do it and hope you get a guide like Stevie who was super fun and informative at the same time! Scotland is beautiful best way to see it with a local guide and via vehicle

The tour was brilliant. Stevie was very fun and knowledgeable, he told us a lot of captivating stories and played some wonderful music in the bus. All in all, an unforgettable trip!

This tour hit all the highlights-- perfectly curated-- and also included a few of our our guide, Steve P's, favorite special spots (like Rogie Falls). Five days was the perfect amount of time to spend in the highlands and the pace of the tour was lovely, allowing for a few hours of free time. I was surprised at how little we spent driving on the bus. The frequent stops and stories of history and culture made the bus time fly by.

I enjoyed the tour more than I thought I would, mostly because of the spectacular scenery. There were about 27 people on our bus. I would have preferred that the guide tell us more about the places were going to see - the background, history, importance of the site, sightseeing plan. But overall it was a great tour. Our guide was fun, easy-going, and loved his job. He even spent his off-hours taking us to enjoy an amazing walk along the river in Inverness and to a Ceilidh (pub dance party) on our first night in Oban. Some of the B&Bs were wonderful, others were simple and small, but clean. There were often steps, but usually staff would offer to carry our luggage for us. Bring bug spray for midges (noseeums)! Stores were sold out!

Skye is beautiful. I liked staying in the same location for two nights and traveling for the day from Skye. The ferry is a treat; definitely pay for the Jacobite train ride.

The group was well-sized (abut 30), and ages ranged 10-70. Stops were times to prevent long rides. Steve was funny and welcoming and made us feel safe on the many winding roads.
