    I am interested in a tour that includes the Orkneys and Skye and also my family roots. My father was born and raised along the Moray Firth (Buckie, Findochty,etc). I remember seeing these areas as a young child before we immigrated to Canada and now coming up to my eighties feels like it would be better sooner than later. Does this type of tour exist?

      Currently we do have an 8-day tour that explores Orkney, the North Coast 500, and the Isle of Skye. This tour departs every Sunday from mid May to September. Around your interested departure date, we have availability for 2 passengers on the 30th August or 13th September 2026. All the tour details can be found on our operators page on Tour Radar, however, these are the overnight stays as a guide:
      Night 1 - Inverness
      Night 2 & 3 - Kirkwall, Orkney
      Night 4 - Ullapool
      Night 5 - Portree, Skye
      Night 6 & 7 - Oban (with day 7 being a free day in Oban)

      Yes, both nights of your stay will be at the same accommodation. We currently do have availability to book a twin room for two people and a family room for three. Please note that the family room for three guests typically consists of one double bed and one single bed. We can certainly add a note to your booking requesting that the double bed be made up as twin beds; however, this cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to the accommodation's availability.

      In all the information posted and on your website, nowhere does it say where the MEETINT POINT is the only thing I found was the address for the company in Edingurgh (60 HIGH ST EDINBURH) is this the meeting point and if so it would be wonderful to have that posted on the web site or at the least on my booking confirmation.

      If you take the steam train option you will be driven to Fort William and then ride the train to Mallaig where the driver will pick you up and then continue the tour. If you do not take the train you will ride the bus between the locations, likely with another stop on the way. If there is coach space it is often to the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
