Darwin
This is your chance to see Darwin on your own terms with a 24-hour hop-on hop-off bus pass. You'll ride the open-top double-decker bus and can jump off at any of the 12 stops whenever something catches your interest. Crocosaurus Cove, the waterfront precinct, and Fort Hill Wharf are all on the route. Stay as long as you like at each spot, then hop back on when you're ready. If you prefer more structure, full morning or afternoon tours run about 70 to 90 minutes with onboard commentary to help you understand what you're seeing.

In the evening, you'll head out on a 2.5-hour dinner cruise aboard the Charles Darwin across Darwin Harbour. A Territory-style buffet includes fresh Australian seafood and local produce served while you take in the harbour views. The onboard commentary covers the harbour's history and wildlife, so you'll learn a bit as you eat. Later, you can relax on the top deck and watch the sun set over the tropical city.
