Arrival in Prague
You'll meet your group at the airport and head to your hotel in Prague's historic centre. This evening, gather with fellow travellers and your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception to get acquainted before the real exploring begins.

- Day 2
Prague Old Town
Start at Strahov Monastery where you'll get panoramic views of the city, then make your way across Charles Bridge to Old Market Square. The Astronomical Clock is definitely worth seeing, and after that the day is yours to wander around Prague however you'd like. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Czech folklore dinner and show available tonight.

Prague at Leisure
Today you have complete freedom to explore Prague on your own schedule. You could head to the Jewish Quarter to check out Franz Kafka's birthplace and learn about the area's history, or if you prefer, there's an optional tour to Prague Castle, which happens to be one of the largest castle complexes in the world and dates back to the 9th century.

Prague to Budapest
After breakfast, you'll travel by coach to Budapest and board your river ship for the next part of your journey. This evening, there's a Welcome Reception so you can meet the other river cruise travellers and settle in.

- Day 5
Budapest
You have the day to explore Budapest at your own pace. There's an optional tour of the 19th-century Great Market Hall if you want to sample Hungarian sausages, meats, cheeses and local products, or you could check out the Hospital in the Rock Nuclear Bunker Museum tucked inside caves beneath Buda Castle. By evening, you'll gather for the Captain's Farewell Dinner.

Mohács to Pécs
Travel from Mohács to Pécs, Hungary's fifth-largest city. You'll see the distinctive copper domes of the Mosque of Pasha Qasim and the 11th-century Pécs Cathedral. The afternoon is free to wander around on your own, or you can join an optional wine tasting tour in the nearby Villány wine region, which is known for its red and rosé varieties.

Osijek to Vukovar
Walk through Osijek's cobblestone streets and 18th-century architecture, checking out Holy Trinity Square and Saint Michael's Church. Then head to Vukovar where you'll taste regional delicacies, after which you'll reboard your ship for a relaxing afternoon cruise towards Serbia.

Belgrade
In Belgrade, you'll join a guided tour of Belgrade Fortress with views over where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, and visit the Serbian Orthodox Temple of Saint Sava, one of the world's largest Orthodox churches. Later, there's an Insider Experience where you'll visit a local family's farm and orchard to learn about slivovitz, Serbia's traditional plum brandy, and get a feel for traditional Serbian village life.

Iron Gates Cruise
You'll cruise through the Iron Gates, a natural wonder with lush forests, towering cliffs and rugged terrain. This series of gorges stretches between Serbia and Romania and provides some really impressive scenery from your ship.

Ruse, Bulgaria
You'll dock in Ruse, one of Bulgaria's more elegant cities, and take a walking tour of Belle Époque architecture and well-kept garden squares that remind many visitors of Vienna. The route passes Liberty Square, the courthouse, the Ruse Opera House, and Alexander Battenberg Square. In the afternoon, you can explore the Regional Museum of History, the National Transport Museum, or the ancient Sexaginta Prista Fortress ruins on your own.
