- Day 1
Edinburgh
You'll arrive in Scotland and transfer to your hotel in Edinburgh. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and get oriented. Check the reception boards to see what tour information they have available, then wander around the neighborhood or grab a bite if you're hungry after your journey.

- Day 2
Edinburgh
After breakfast, a local guide takes you through Edinburgh's historic center. You'll see Edinburgh Castle sitting high above the city, walk down the steep medieval streets, and pass through some beautiful parks. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of northern Europe's most vibrant cities. Later you have free time to explore on your own and check out whatever interests you.

- Day 3
Edinburgh - Stirling - Pitlochry - Culloden - Inverness
You head north from Edinburgh with several stops along the way. First up, the Kelpies, those mythical horse sculptures make for great photos. From there it's on to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland's most important historic strongholds. You'll stop in Pitlochry, the heart of the whisky region, for lunch and a walk around town. Next comes Culloden, the historic battle site. By evening you arrive in Inverness with time to stroll along the River Ness and see the iconic suspension bridge.

- Day 4
Inverness - Eilean Donan - Fort Augustus - Loch Ness - Urquhart - Inverness
This day is packed with Highland experiences. You'll travel through landscapes with forests, lochs, and remote terrain. Eilean Donan Castle sits right on the water and you'll see it up close. Fort Augustus is next where you can watch the sluice gate system and have lunch. An included boat tour takes you out on Loch Ness, then you visit the medieval ruins of Urquhart Castle. The day ends with a tour and tasting at a traditional whiskey distillery in Inverness.

- Day 5
Inverness - Spean Bridge - Fort William - Inveraray - Glasgow
Traveling north again through more Highland scenery. You'll stop at Spean Bridge to see a Second World War monument, then reach Fort William, which sits at the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain and a major tourist hub. The drive continues past the beautiful ruins of Kilchurn Castle beside a dark lake. Inveraray is next, a charming historic village on Loch Fyne with a grand castle where you'll stop for lunch. On the return journey you follow the shores of Loch Lomond before arriving in Glasgow by evening with time to explore the city center.
