Itinerary
- Day 1
Edinburgh
You'll arrive in Edinburgh and have time to kill before the 6 pm welcome meeting. If you get there early, there's plenty to do, like checking out The Real Mary King's Close or climbing Arthur's Seat for views across the city, or you could head straight to Edinburgh Castle. After the meeting wraps up, you'll head out for dinner with the group.

- Day 2
Edinburgh
After breakfast, an expert historian will lead you on a walking tour down the Royal Mile, covering the city's famous writers and inventors. You'll walk through St Giles' Cathedral and the Edinburgh Writers Museum to see sites connected to well-known literary characters. Your afternoon is free to spend however you like, whether that's browsing shops on George Street or joining the optional Harry Potter-themed tour.

- Day 3
Edinburgh to Aberdeenshire
You'll head north toward Aberdeenshire with stops along the way. First is Stirling Castle with a guided tour about Mary Queen of Scots growing up there, then lunch and a tartan workshop at Radical Weavers where you'll learn the history and try weaving yourself. Before settling into Meldrum House for the night, you'll stop to see Dunnottar Castle with its dramatic clifftop setting.

Aberdeenshire to Isle of Skye
Today takes you to a Speyside distillery on the Malt Whisky Trail. You'll get a guided tour and taste some of the region's whisky, then drive to the Isle of Skye. After you check in, consider heading out to dinner with the group, and your local leader can point you toward the best spots.

- Day 5
Isle of Skye
You'll spend the day exploring the Isle of Skye, hitting places like the Old Man of Storr, Rigg Viewpoints, and Quiraing with its tall rock formations. From there, you can check out Fairy Glen's unusual landscape, walk around Dun Beag Broch, and if the weather cooperates, stop by Neist Point Lighthouse. Back in Portree by evening, you'll have time to wander and find something to eat like cullen skink or a scotch pie.

- Day 6
Glencoe - Loch Lomond - Glasgow
You'll start with breakfast before heading to Glasgow by ferry to Mallaig. Along the way, there's a stop in Glencoe where your local leader takes you through the village and you grab lunch at a cafe. After that, you board a private one-hour cruise on Loch Lomond with champagne, and you'll see Ben Lomond and some historic castles from the water. By evening you arrive in Glasgow, which is a major port city and also designated as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

The rest of your day is open, so you could visit the Riverside Museum with its interactive exhibits or walk along the River Clyde. Your group might get together for dinner at a local restaurant to wrap up the trip.
