- Day 1
Darwin to Nitmiluk National Park
You'll meet your group in Darwin and head south to check out either Edith Falls or Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park. There's time for a swim and lunch before you set up camp at your private campsite on the park's edge. Settle in with dinner and get ready for the days ahead.

Lake Argyle
After breakfast, there's a stop for a morning swim at Katherine Hot Springs before heading to Lake Argyle, a massive 700 square kilometre man-made lake created by the Ord River Dam. You can take an optional sunset cruise if you're interested, then camp at the exclusive Ord River campsite for the night.

Purnululu National Park
You'll drive through the rugged Carr Boyd and Durack Ranges into Purnululu National Park to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Bungle Bungles. The day includes a walk into Echidna Chasm and time to watch the sunset over the Osmond Ranges. If you prefer, there's an option to sleep out beneath the stars in a swag instead of a tent.

- Day 4
Bungle Bungles
After breakfast, you'll spend the full day exploring the Bungle Bungles' rock formations and hike to Cathedral Gorge, which is absolutely massive. A helicopter flight over the area is available if you want to pay extra for that experience.

El Questro Station
The 4WD action continues as you wind out of the Bungle Bungles through the East Kimberley region. You'll spend the afternoon exploring El Questro Station and hike into Emma Gorge to see a waterfall and have a swim, then head to camp on the Ord River.

Kununurra
You'll explore the Ord River system, which is free of saltwater crocodiles, and tour Kununurra, the East Kimberley capital. Check out local spots like Hoochery Distillery and Mirima National Park. Late afternoon brings a hike to an exclusive lookout over the Upper Ord River system to watch the Kimberley sunset.

Gibb River Road to Mount Barnett
After breakfast, you'll hit the legendary Gibb River Road, a 600 kilometre 4WD route through the heart of the Kimberley. You'll ford rivers and weave through gorges with breaks for lunch along the way. By evening, you'll camp at Mount Barnett station near Manning Gorge beside a crystal clear fresh-water river.

Manning Gorge
The morning is spent exploring Manning Gorge and swimming in the pools beneath Manning Falls. Depending on the season, you might explore Galvan's Gorge in the afternoon before returning to camp to relax around the campfire and unwind.

Bell Gorge and Windjana Gorge
After breakfast, you'll venture to Bell Gorge to see cascades of water from the King Leopold Ranges. Later, head to Windjana Gorge, a 375 million-year-old reef cut through by the Lennard River where you might spot wild freshwater crocodiles and various bird and bat species. Camp for the last time in the Western Kimberley region.

Tunnel Creek to Broome
You'll walk through Tunnel Creek, a cave system extending 750 metres underground with dramatic stalactites and shards of sunlight streaming through crevices. Then it's the final drive to Broome, hopefully arriving in time to catch a sunset at Cable Beach.

Cape Keraudren to Karijini National Park

Karijini National Park

This is a long driving day of roughly 9 hours covering approximately 750 kilometres through the vast bushland and cattle stations of the Pilbara region. You'll travel through this sparsely populated area known for its red earth and rich mineral deposits.

Coral Bay and Cape Range National Park
Depending on the season, you might snorkel or scuba dive searching for whale sharks or manta rays. Explore Cape Range National Park and take a short trip to Coral Bay.

You've got a day of freedom and relaxation here. Snorkel on Ningaloo Reef, one of the world's largest fringing reefs that starts practically from the shore. Swim with turtles, fish, and manta rays, or take a glass bottom boat tour. Coral Bay Eco Tours offers other optional activities to check out.

Monkey Mia to Kalbarri National Park
Visit Monkey Mia on the Peron Peninsula in Shark Bay to see the world-famous dolphins that have been coming to the beach for decades. Drive across the Eastern Peninsula to see stromatolites, the oldest living organisms in the world. Then head south to Kalbarri National Park with stops at Murchison Gorge to view Nature's Window and the Kalbarri Skywalk if time allows.

Kalbarri to Perth
You'll spend the day cruising through spectacular coastal gorges of Kalbarri National Park to the quaint town of Dongara. Check out Western Australia's Pink Lake at Port Gregory, then head to Sandy Cape and the strange limestone structures of Pinnacles Nambung National Park. After walking around the Pinnacles, it's the drive on to Perth where your adventure ends.
