Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
In the morning, you'll visit Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the Viet Cong's underground tunnel system and its role during the Vietnam War. After grabbing lunch, you'll transfer to the Mekong Jewel cruise ship to begin your river journey.

Mekong Delta
You're on the Mekong River now, and today brings a chance to see real delta life. Local farmers will show you sedge hat weaving and bonsai decoration techniques. By evening, you'll have an authentic Vietnamese dinner right onboard the ship.

Gieng Island

Hong Ngu to Vietnam-Cambodia Border
Hong Ngu island village is your stop today, where you'll see Khmer scarves being woven right in people's homes. There's also a local temple dedicated to the Hoa Hao religion, which actually started in this area. Later this afternoon, you'll cross into Cambodia.

Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh sits where three rivers meet, and the city itself is a mix of French colonial buildings, Khmer architecture, and modern structures. Along the riverside, Buddhist temples and palaces line the esplanade, filled with historical significance.

Phnom Penh
You'll visit the Killing Fields to understand Cambodia's history under the Khmer Rouge. Then you'll go to a former school that became a prison and now operates as a genocide museum. Both stops are difficult but important parts of understanding Cambodia's past.

Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
You'll leave the ship this morning and head to Siem Reap by motorcoach. After checking in at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, you'll take a city tour and visit local artisans by remork (a three-wheeled vehicle).

Siem Reap
Angkor Wat is on the agenda today. This massive religious complex and UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of those places most travelers hope to see. The scale and detail of the temples are really something to experience in person.

Siem Reap

Hanoi's tree-lined boulevards and colonial buildings give the capital its own personality. You'll walk through busy streets where food vendors set up shop, visit museums and historic sites. The city's contradictions and energy make it worth exploring carefully.
