    Our adventures are typically land-only, which means international flights are not included, and we do not automatically fly you in and out of London Heathrow. You are free to book flights into any London airport that works best for you (Heathrow is the most common). On many departures, we offer an optional airport transfer on the first and last day of the adventure if you arrive and depart within certain time windows and to/from specific airports. Transfers are not offered through Costsaver. Guests should make their own way from/to the airport at their own expense.

    Yes, this adventure is suitable for travelers in their 60s, including those who prefer a slower walking pace. Our groups often include guests in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. There is daily walking, particularly during city sightseeing, around historic sites, and occasionally on uneven surfaces such as cobblestone streets. The pace is moderate, with regular stops and free time. Guests are welcome to walk at their own pace, sit out certain activities or portions of walks if preferred, and rejoin the group later at an agreed meeting point. Our Travel Director and Driver are experienced in assisting guests who prefer a more relaxed pace and will do their best to support you throughout the journey. If you are comfortable walking around towns at an easy pace and standing for short periods during guided visits, most guests in their 60s find this adventure very enjoyable. If you use a cane or have any mobility concerns, please let us know so we can provide more specific guidance.

  What's difference between the 8 day one and 10 day one on this tour?

    The main difference between the 8-day and 10-day Britain and Ireland Delight tour is the accommodation in London.
    
    The 10-day tour includes:
    1 night accommodation in London before the tour starts (with breakfast)
    1 night accommodation in London after the tour ends (with breakfast)
    
    The 8-day tour includes only the guided tour itself and does not include the pre- or post-tour hotel stays in London. You would need to arrange those accommodations independently.
    
    Please note that for the tour departure, we require arriving in London at least one day before the tour starts, as the tour departs early on the morning of Day 1. This is why the 10-day option includes a pre-tour overnight stay, making it a more convenient choice for many travelers.

    On June 5th, the adventure will depart from the London hotel between 04:00 and 09:00AM. A pre-night in London is required because of the early departure, and this night is not included in the adventure price, so guests will need to arrange their own accommodation.
    
    You will need to be at the London hotel at least 30 minutes before departure on Day 1. Your exact departure time and hotel details will be confirmed in an email from your Travel Director at least 5 days before departure.

    On the first day of the trip, 31 July 2027, you will meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers at the Holiday Inn Brentford Lock, London. Departure from the hotel will take place between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Due to the early departure time, a pre-night stay in London is required, which is not included in the tour package.
    
    On the final day, 07 August 2027, you will be dropped off at the same hotel in London in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of the tour. For departure flights, we advise against booking an evening flight on the last day, as unforeseen delays may occur upon return to London. Travel time from Central London to Heathrow Airport (LHR) can range from 40 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. A post-night stay in London is strongly recommended and is not included in the tour package.

    We are unable to confirm whether the Britain and Ireland Delight tour will have departures in August or September 2027, as the updated release of next year's departures has not yet been finalized. We recommend checking with us again by September, as that is typically when new tours and departure dates for the following year are released.

  What is the cost of "Boarding an optional cruise on a boat" on day 2, per person? What is the cost of visiting Rosslyn Chapel on day 3? What are the costs of the tours on day 7?

    On Day 2, the optional Scenic Cruise on Lake Windermere costs £30.00 per person. On Day 3, the optional visit to Rosslyn Chapel costs £31.00 per person. On Day 7, the Cardiff Castle Tour is £28.00 per person, A Slice of Cardiff is £72.00 per person, and the Welsh Evening is £91.00 per person.

    On the first day, the trip will begin at the London hotel at approximately 7:45 AM. On the final day, the trip will return to the London hotel around 4:30 PM. The London hotel has not yet been finalized. All guests will receive an email from their Travel Director at least five days prior to departure to confirm the departure time and hotel details.

This makes it convenient to plan your stay in London, as you'll begin and end the tour at the same location. Tour departs London hotel between 04:00 – 09:00. In that way, guest will need to be at the London hotel at least 30 minutes prior to departure on day 01.

Solo travelers may choose either a single room or a twin-share arrangement, where you will be paired with another traveler of the same gender. Pricing will depend on the specific departure date.

    The hotel in London is at Park Plaza London Park Royal. Please be advised though that hotels are subject to change. If you are booking extra nights independently, please book with a flexible cancellation policy in case of hotel change.
    
    Guests are dropped off at the tour hotel in London late afternoon/early evening on the last day of the tour at approximately (16:30) 4:30pm.
    
    For departure flights, we do not recommend flying in the evening on the last day of the tour, as unforeseen circumstances may arise upon return to London and cause delays. Travel times from Central London to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) can range from 40 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.
    
    A post night in London is strongly recommended and is not included as part of the tour.

    There are two options for this tour, which are with London and without London. The one with London includes 1 night of accommodation in London at the start and 1 night at the end (with breakfast). We can also offer extra nights in case you wish to extend. While the tour you have selected is without London. A pre-accommodation in London is required. A post-accommodation in London is strongly recommended. Guests should make their own arrangements for extra nights.
