  Plan to spend 8-9 hours daily on the bus. Some hotels were nice, others were obviously very low cost and not in great neighborhoods. We had three different busses, as they kept breaking down and had to be replaced. We spent an entire afternoon at a small petrol station waiting for a new bus. One day, while unloading the bus, the tour director broke the wheel off my suitcase. He immediately informed me that Trafalgar was not going to reimburse me. He then said he could fix it. I was to empty it and bring it to his room. He would glue it let it dry and return it to me in the morning. I brought to his room, he answered the door wearing only a towel. I am a woman who was traveling solo. I gave him the suitcase and left. Apparently, that was not the scenario he had in mind. I went to retrieve my suitcase in the morning and of course he had not fixed it. I'm sure this is not the first or last time, this creepy tour director tried this tactic. I will never travel with Trafalgar again.Show more

  Very good itinerary and also flexibility to go for special excursions or having your own time to explore what you like to see. Thats justifies the reasonable price. It would have been excellent if extra day was given to Edinburgh and another to Glasgow instead of the two days in London. Professional is the least word which describe the staff involved.Show more
