Trekking through rice terraces in Ha Giang, staying in homestays with welcoming families, and crossing the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass were absolute highlights. The landscapes were breathtaking, but what made the trip even more special were the local interactions — sharing meals, stories. It was such a wonderful glimpse into the culture and traditions as well as the beautiful nature of northern Vietnam. Our Guide Mr Thao spoke very good english and was able to share a lot of information regarding the customs of the local hill tribes. The driver Mr Miak was an exerlant driver and we felt very safe in his hands. All our accommodation was clean, comfortable and we were made very welcome by the homestay family.
