- Day 1
Whitehorse
You'll arrive in Whitehorse and connect with your guide and group. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city at your own pace. The SS Klondike paddle steamer is worth checking out if you're interested in local history, and the McBride Museum covers the region's past pretty well if museums are your thing.

- Day 2
Whitehorse to Kluane National Park
This day gets you comfortable with your equipment and paddling partner out on the water. You'll drive to Kluane National Park and paddle the Blanchard and Tatshenshini Rivers, which will give you a good feel for what the Bonnet Plume River will be like. By evening you'll head back to Whitehorse for the night.

Whitehorse to Bonnet Plume Lake
Early morning departure from Whitehorse, then you drive to Mayo where a seaplane takes over. The flight drops you at Bonnet Plume Lake, your starting point for the river adventure ahead.

Bonnet Plume Lake
You'll spend the day hiking around the mountains surrounding Bonnet Plume Lake. This gets you acclimated to the area and lets you take in the landscape before you push off on the river.

Bonnet Plume River - Rockslide Canyon
Time to paddle the Bonnet Plume River for real. You'll hit the first class 2-3 rapids in Rockslide Canyon, which marks where things shift from preparation to actual adventure.

Bonnet Plume River
Time away from the paddle to reflect on how far you've come. You'll hike out for about 6 hours round-trip to one of the nearby peaks to stretch your legs and take in the views from higher up.

Taco Bar to Mayo to Whitehorse
You'll arrive at the Taco Bar where a seaplane waits to fly you back to Mayo. The flight gives you one last look at the Yukon from the air, then you drive back to Whitehorse.

Whitehorse
Free time until noon to walk around Whitehorse and grab souvenirs on Main Street or check out local culture if that appeals to you. In the afternoon, head to Takini Hot Springs to soak in the warm water and relax under the Yukon sky.
