- Day 1
Melbourne to Wilsons Promontory to Foster
Meet your group at 9 am in Melbourne, then drive down to Wilsons Promontory for some walking through temperate rainforest. The Lily Pilly Gully Boardwalk is where you'll likely see emus, wombats, and kangaroos along the trail. After that, head to Squeaky Beach to experience the unique sound the quartz sand makes underfoot. You'll wrap up the day in Foster for the night.

Foster to Paynesville to Raymond Island
This morning takes you across the Corrigan Suspension Bridge Loop through South Gippsland wet forest. You'll walk surrounded by ancient myrtle beech trees in the temperate rainforest setting. Stop for lunch in Rosedale, then travel to Paynesville to catch a ferry over to Raymond Island. From there, follow the Raymond Island Koala Trail and look for koalas in their natural habitat while learning about how they communicate and behave.

Raymond Island to Eden
You'll spend the morning on a guided tour through Buchan Caves, exploring the Royal Cave where you'll see limestone sculptures, calcite-rimmed pools, stalactites, and stalagmites that formed over thousands of years. The afternoon is yours to relax at your accommodation in Eden or walk around the surrounding area on your own if you prefer to see what else is nearby.

Eden
Start at the Keeping Place in Jigamy for the Bilbaan Cultural Experience, a guided walk led by Country Custodians. You'll travel along coastal bushland with ocean views opening up toward the Pinnacles while learning about Aboriginal cultural practices and native plants and wildlife in the area. The rest of your day in Eden is free to explore at your own pace.

Eden to Merimbula to Bermagui to Jervis Bay
Morning brings an oyster tour on Pambula Lake near Merimbula where a local oyster farmer shows you how Sydney rock oyster farming works, then you'll taste fresh shellfish. Grab lunch at Merimbula Wharf Restaurant, then head to Bermagui Blue Hole. Walk down the cliff to reach this 50-metre deep seawater swimming hole with sapphire-blue water and either swim or enjoy the views from the platform. You'll drive to Jervis Bay after that for the night.

Jervis Bay to Sydney
Start your day at Murrays Beach where you'll find the white sand that makes Jervis Bay so popular with visitors. From there, head out on a hike to Governors Head lookout, which gives you those wide views across the bay that make the effort worth it. By afternoon, you're driving north toward Sydney on the Sea Cliff Bridge, a 665-meter span that runs right over the ocean and offers some pretty great views if you can glance over while driving. Once you settle into Sydney for the evening, grab dinner with your group and get ready for what comes next on your trip.
